Step into a fascinating underground world just outside Palma and experience caving at its best. This guided session takes you deep into Marble Cave, where you’ll move through passages, climb, and descend while taking in extraordinary natural formations. It’s a safe yet exciting way to see the island from a whole new perspective.
Your adventure begins with a short introduction from your guide, followed by a safety briefing and fitting of equipment. Once ready, you’ll set off to the cave entrance and step into an environment shaped over millions of years. The initial sections are straightforward, giving you time to get used to the underground setting and practise moving through narrower spaces.
As the route continues, you’ll encounter small climbs, short descents, and tighter passages that add to the excitement. The cave does not require ropes or vertical progression equipment, making it accessible while still challenging enough to give you a real taste of speleology. The highlight of the trip comes when you reach the final chamber, home to impressive Jurassic-era formations. Here, there’s a chance to pause, take in the scale of the underground world, and enjoy a well-earned break before beginning the return journey.
Throughout the session, your guide will share insights into how the cave was formed, explain different features you pass, and help you navigate obstacles. You’ll finish the experience with a strong sense of achievement and plenty of stories to share.
Marble Cave, or Cova des Màrmols, is located in the Serra de Na Burguesa, close to Palma. The area is well known for its geological diversity, and this cave in particular is valued for its gradient and striking formations.
The site is easy to access from Palma and surrounding towns, making it a convenient activity for those looking for adventure without travelling far. Once inside, you’ll feel completely immersed in a hidden world, far removed from the busy atmosphere of the coast.
A reasonable level of physical fitness is required, as the activity includes crawling, climbing, and moving through tight spaces. No previous caving experience is necessary, and your guide will provide all essential equipment and instructions.
Participants must be comfortable in enclosed spaces and prepared for a physically active experience. Suitable clothing and footwear are required, along with water and light snacks to keep your energy up during the session.

Their approach is professional yet personal, with small group sizes that allow every participant to feel supported and safe. Whether you’re new to caving or already enthusiastic about the outdoors, the team is dedicated to creating memorable experiences that showcase Mallorca’s unique underground landscapes.
