Spend four hours out on the Bay of Palma on a sociable catamaran trip that combines sailing, swimming stops, music, and a freshly prepared barbecue. This morning departure is well suited to families, groups of friends, and anyone looking for a relaxed but lively way to enjoy the Mediterranean.
Food is taken care of on board, there’s time to swim or snorkel, and plenty of space to sit back and enjoy the sea breeze while cruising along the coast.
Boarding takes place at Playa del Arenal, with access directly from the beach near the marina. Once on board, the catamaran sets off into the Bay of Palma with music playing and plenty of open deck space to move around, sit, or relax in shaded areas. The atmosphere is social and upbeat, but there is also space to unwind if you prefer a quieter spot.
During the trip, the crew anchors in a calm area suitable for swimming and snorkelling. Guests can jump straight into the sea, use the provided snorkel equipment, or simply cool off with a swim. Life jackets are available for anyone who wants extra reassurance in the water, and the boat layout makes it easy to get in and out.
While cruising and during the stop, a barbecue lunch is prepared on board, served with pasta salad and bread. One drink is included, with additional drinks available to purchase from the fully equipped bar. Fresh water showers and onboard toilets are available throughout the trip, making it comfortable for families and longer stays on the water.
The experience takes place in the Bay of Palma, a broad, sheltered stretch of coastline known for its easy sailing conditions and clear water close to shore. This area is ideal for relaxed catamaran trips, offering calm swimming conditions and wide views back towards the city and coastline.
Boarding is from Playa del Arenal, next to Club Nàutic S’Arenal. Access to the catamaran is via the beach, directly from the sand. Guests are asked to arrive at the boarding area at least 15 minutes before departure to allow time for check-in and boarding.
No previous sailing experience or swimming ability is required to take part. The trip is designed to be accessible for a wide range of ages and experience levels, including children, families, couples, and mixed groups.
Guests should arrive on time, as late arrivals cannot be accommodated once boarding has closed. The total duration includes boarding and disembarking time, so allowing extra time before and after the trip is recommended, especially during busy summer periods.
This trip focuses on creating an easy, well-rounded half-day experience on the water, combining sailing, swimming, and food in one straightforward package. With lunch included and equipment provided, there’s very little to organise in advance, making it a popular option for visitors with limited time in Mallorca.
The route and setup are designed for shared enjoyment, with music, open deck space, and a friendly onboard atmosphere. It works equally well for families looking for a child-friendly sea trip and for groups of friends wanting a sociable morning out on the Mediterranean.
