Looking for a day packed with action on the water? This inflatable aqua park in St Osyth combines climbing, balancing, swinging, sliding and jumping obstacles to create an exciting experience for families, friends and groups. With new challenges for 2026 and plenty of ways to test your confidence, it's a great choice for anyone wanting an active day outdoors.
After checking in, you'll have time to get changed, store belongings and attend the mandatory safety briefing before heading onto the water. Participants should arrive at least 30 minutes before their booked session to ensure enough time for registration and preparation.
Once you're on the course, it's a race against gravity, balance and your friends as you tackle a huge range of inflatable obstacles. Climb towering structures, leap from launch platforms, scramble across floating challenges and expect plenty of unexpected splashdowns along the way. Every section offers something different, whether you're testing your agility, building confidence or simply trying to stay dry.
Among the standout features is El Jefe, a huge climbing challenge that leads to jump stations and a fast slide with a kicker exit. You'll also find the Hammer launch platform, the swinging Catapult obstacle, the Helix balance challenge, the Ninja-inspired I Hop stepping course and the Hatchway speed obstacle. Whether you're competing with friends or taking it at your own pace, there's always another challenge waiting around the corner.
Planning a birthday celebration, school trip, corporate event, stag do, hen party or group day out? The aqua park is well suited to large bookings and can accommodate up to 50 people at a time.
Groups can also combine their aqua park session with paddleboarding, kayaking, wakeboarding or ringo rides, creating a customised day packed with activities both on and off the water.
Situated in St Osyth, Essex, the lake provides a spacious outdoor setting that feels away from the crowds while remaining easily accessible from across Essex and Suffolk. The waterside environment creates an ideal backdrop for active days out, family visits and group celebrations throughout the season.
Visitors benefit from a large free car park with space for more than 200 vehicles located close to the lake. Facilities include changing areas, lockers for valuables and a lakeside café serving a range of hot and cold food, drinks and snacks throughout the day.
Participants must be at least 1.2 metres tall, weigh under 120kg and be able to swim 25 metres unaided. Everyone taking part should feel confident entering deep water and climbing back onto the inflatable obstacles independently.
Children aged 6 and 7 must be accompanied on the aqua park by an adult aged 18 or over, with a maximum of two children per adult. For those aged 8 to 18, an adult must remain on site throughout the session.
Featuring one of the area's largest inflatable aqua park courses, the venue offers a wide variety of obstacles suitable for both first-time visitors and confident water lovers. New additions and regularly updated features help ensure every visit feels fresh and enjoyable.
Beyond the aqua park itself, guests can access a range of other watersports activities on the lake, making it easy to turn a visit into a full day out. Extensive facilities, lifeguard supervision and a welcoming atmosphere make it a popular choice for families, groups and celebrations.
Yes. All participants must be able to swim at least 25 metres without assistance and feel confident in open water before taking part. The aqua park is located on a lake, and while buoyancy aids are provided and must be worn at all times, participants will regularly enter the water as they move around the course.
Many of the obstacles involve climbing, balancing, jumping and pulling yourself back onto the inflatables after falling in. Lifeguards are present throughout sessions to help maintain a safe environment, but every participant must meet the minimum swimming requirement before they can access the course.
Swimwear should be worn underneath your wetsuit if you choose to use one. Many visitors also bring a towel, a change of clothes and suitable footwear for walking around the site before and after their session.
Water shoes are permitted on the aqua park and can provide additional grip on some obstacles. However, trainers, hard-soled shoes and footwear that could damage the inflatables are not allowed. During cooler periods, wetsuits are available to help keep participants comfortable in the water.
Yes. Buoyancy aids are included and are compulsory for every participant regardless of age or swimming ability. For safety reasons, only the buoyancy aids provided on site may be used during the session.
Wetsuits are also available and included when required. While they are optional during warmer conditions, they may become mandatory if water temperatures drop below a certain level. Staff will advise on the day if wetsuits are required for safety and comfort.
Participants should aim to arrive at least 30 minutes before their booked session time. This allows enough time to park, check in, complete any necessary waivers, store belongings and collect equipment before the briefing begins.
A safety briefing takes place shortly before every session and contains important information about the course, safety procedures and rules. Late arrivals may miss the briefing and could lose some of their session time, as sessions cannot be extended for those who arrive after the scheduled start.
Yes, the aqua park is designed to be enjoyed by both children and adults, provided participants meet the height, weight and swimming requirements. Children aged 6 and 7 must be accompanied on the aqua park by an adult aged 18 or over, with a maximum of two children per adult.
For children aged 8 to 18, an adult does not need to join them on the course but must remain on site throughout the session. These supervision requirements help ensure younger visitors can enjoy the experience safely while still having plenty of independence on the obstacles.
