Learn to windsurf over multiple sessions with a structured beginner camp on the shallow waters of Ribersborg in Malmö. This multi-day format is designed to build confidence quickly while reinforcing technique between sessions.
This camp is designed to give you consistent time on the water across several days, which is one of the most effective ways to learn windsurfing. Instead of trying to take everything in at once, you’ll build skills gradually, returning each session with better balance, coordination, and confidence.
The early sessions focus on core fundamentals such as stance, sail control, and basic movement. As the camp progresses, you’ll begin to link these skills together, improving your ability to sail with control and intention. The shallow water at Ribersborg makes it easier to practise repeatedly, helping accelerate progression.
By the final sessions, most participants feel more relaxed on the board and are able to sail in both directions with increasing consistency. The structure of the camp helps move you from first attempts to a solid beginner level in a short period of time.
The camp takes place at Ribersborg, one of Malmö’s most beginner-friendly windsurfing locations. The shallow, sandy beach allows you to stand in the water, making it easier to practise and recover quickly between attempts.
You’ll meet at the storage next to Strandkiosken along Ribersborgsvägen. The setup is simple and efficient, with direct access to the water. The open coastline provides consistent wind exposure, supporting steady progression throughout the camp.
No prior windsurfing experience is required. This camp is designed specifically for complete beginners and introduces all key skills step by step.
Participants should be comfortable in the water and able to swim while wearing a buoyancy aid. A basic level of fitness is helpful, as you’ll be active during each session.
