Build a solid foundation in wing foiling over three focused sessions. Each lesson combines theory, land practice, and on-water experience, giving you the skills and confidence to glide independently. The course is suitable for beginners as well as those looking to refine their technique.
Each day starts with a land-based demonstration lasting around 30 minutes. Instructors will show you how to hold and control the wing, adopt the correct body position, and maintain balance on the board. You will practise these movements on the beach to build confidence before entering the water.
Once in the water, you’ll practise launching the wing, maintaining stability, and steering the board. The instructor provides personalised guidance and feedback to help you improve consistently. Each session builds on the previous one, so by the final day, you’ll be able to handle basic manoeuvres independently and understand how to progress safely.
Over the three days, the course combines repetition with individual coaching, ensuring that each participant gains the confidence to continue practising after the course ends. The calm, sheltered waters of Can Pastilla beach create ideal conditions for learning while allowing for manageable challenges that help you improve your skills.
The course is based at Can Pastilla beach in Palma de Mallorca, an area known for consistent wind conditions suitable for wing foiling. The beach offers open space for land demonstrations and safe zones for practicing on the water.
Sessions are scheduled to take advantage of optimal wind hours, generally between late morning and late afternoon. The meeting point is confirmed for each day and is easy to access, providing a practical and safe environment for learning this water sport.
Participants should be confident swimmers and comfortable in open water. No previous wing foiling experience is required, although a basic sense of balance and fitness will help with progression.
This course is suitable for beginners and intermediate learners. Children under 12, pregnant individuals, or those with serious mobility or swimming limitations are not recommended to participate.
The course provides structured, progressive instruction with a focus on practical skills and safety. Instructors give personalised attention to each participant, ensuring steady progress and confidence on the board.
With the reliable wind conditions of Can Pastilla and experienced coaching, participants benefit from a safe, effective learning environment. Equipment is provided for all levels, allowing you to focus on skill development without worrying about logistics.
No prior experience is required. The course is designed to teach the fundamentals from scratch, starting with land-based practice before moving into the water.
Beginners will build confidence gradually with structured lessons and personal guidance. Intermediate participants can refine their technique and learn more advanced manoeuvres.
Participants should wear swimwear under the wetsuit or rash guard. Bring a towel and dry clothes for afterwards, along with water to stay hydrated.
Sunscreen is recommended on sunny days. Personal belongings should be minimal, as storage may be limited on the beach.
Courses are structured with small groups to allow personalised instruction. Each participant receives individual attention from the instructor, helping you progress efficiently.
This format ensures a safe learning environment and allows adjustments to each person’s skill level and pace.
By the end of the three-day course, most participants can perform basic wing foiling independently. You will have the core skills needed to practise on your own.
Continued practice is recommended, as mastery comes with time and repetition. Instructors provide guidance on how to progress safely after the course.
Lessons are scheduled according to wind and water conditions. If the conditions are unsafe or unsuitable, sessions may be adjusted or rescheduled.
This ensures participants can learn effectively and safely, while still practising manoeuvres in manageable conditions.
The course is held at Can Pastilla beach. The exact meeting point and daily schedule are confirmed after booking to ensure you arrive in the correct location.
This allows sessions to make the most of optimal wind conditions and ensures everyone starts safely and effectively.
