In the first part of our course, you'll delve into the basics of windsurfing, guided by our experienced instructors. Learn the art of efficiently launching your board onto the water, setting the foundation for a successful windsurfing experience. Master essential manoeuvres such as tacking and gybing, essential skills for controlling your board and navigating the waters with confidence.
Building upon your newfound skills, the second part of the course focuses on refining your technique and expanding your capabilities. Dive deeper into the intricacies of windsurfing as you learn to sail both upwind and downwind, adapting to different wind conditions and harnessing the power of the elements. Our instructors will provide invaluable insights into advanced manoeuvres, helping you become a proficient windsurfer capable of tackling various challenges on the water.
Our windsurfing courses take place in the scenic Dorset, offering wonderful views and ideal wind conditions for learning the sport.
Participants must be aged 8 or above to join our group lessons. No prior windsurfing experience is necessary – just a willingness to learn and a sense of adventure!

You can choose to book 2 hours or 2 x 2 hour sessions and we can be flexible with when the second session is done.
No, our courses are designed for individuals with little to no prior experience in windsurfing.
Our expert instructors will guide you through the fundamentals, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable learning experience for all participants.
We recommend bringing swimwear, a towel, and sunscreen to protect yourself from the sun.
All necessary windsurfing equipment, including wetsuits and buoyancy aids, will be provided as part of the course fee.
Participants must be aged 8 or above to join our group lessons. However, we also offer private lessons for younger children upon request.

All users must read, understand and sign a waiver form prior to use. This will be found in your booking email. And as per your agreement, you must follow instructions given by the team. If in doubt ask.
Unfortunately, we don’t. A large council-owned car park in Mudeford Quay is payable by the hour.
Please note that the car park can be very busy during peak season and at the weekends, so please allow plenty of time before your booking.
Our centre is open every day from April -the end of October subject to demand and the weather.

We had an amazing time with bobby who was very polite and very chatty with the children and helped them with everything from getting there life jackets on properly to how to sit in the kayak and how to paddle, he was an extremely good instructor 😁

Our guide Lucy took us across Mudeford Harbour and around the Christchurch loop, she looked after us well. You often kayak against the wind to cross the harbour so the first part was challenging and we ended up needing to be towed by speedboat which got us drenched. The loop…
