This thrilling activity offers an unforgettable experience along the gorgeous coastline, blending exploration with exciting challenges.
Tackle a journey along the Portknockie coastline as you climb, jump, and swim towards the iconic Bow Fiddle Rock. Led by our expert guides, you'll navigate rocky inlets and hidden caves, learning to safely leap from heights amidst the ever-changing ocean landscape.
Upon arrival at Portknockie Harbour, you'll meet your guide and receive all necessary equipment. After a safety briefing and technique overview, we'll venture over the hill to our starting point. From there, the real adventure begins! Over the course of 2 hours, you'll traverse the coastline, encountering sensational scenery and various wildlife.
Portknockie Harbour serves as our meeting point before venturing into the waters of the Moray Firth. This scenic location provides the perfect backdrop for your coasteering expedition, with its rough cliffs and crystal-clear waters.
We ask that everybody taking part in our coasteering activities can swim a minimum of 50 metres. The minimum age requirement for our coasteering sessions is 12 years old.
At our centre, safety and adventure go hand in hand. Our professional guides ensure a secure environment while maximising the fun and excitement of your coasteering experience.
With carefully curated routes suitable for all skill levels, you're guaranteed an exhilarating adventure along Portknockie's coastline.
For Coasteering, ages 12+ are welcome to join our open group Coasteering Adventures. Our private Family Coasteering Adventures are suitable for ages 8+. You're never too old to get in the sea and have a go!
No not at all. You don’t have to do any of the jumps if you don’t want to. We always start small and work our way up.
Our coasteering sessions are about exploring and journeying along the coastline, enjoying the unique perspective and experience. Jumping is a part of the adventure but not the main element, and all jumps are optional.
You will always be given the option to challenge yourself, whether that is a small jump or large but in no way will you be pressured into doing something you are uncomfortable with.
