Visit Goreme Open-Air Museum, Uçhisar Castle, and the underground cities of Derinkuyu or Kaymaklı. Explore Devrent and Pasabag valleys, and try local pottery or gentle horse-riding/ATV tours. Leisure days allow revisiting favourite sites or optional cooking classes.
Days 10-13: Erciyes Ski Resort
Transfer to Erciyes Ski Resort and arrange ski equipment rental. Spend four full days skiing or snowboarding on slopes suitable for all levels, with professional instructors available. Optional activities include snowshoeing or enjoying mountain cafés. Evening leisure allows for relaxation at the hotel or cultural experiences nearby. Day 14: Transfer to Kayseri Erkilet Airport for departure.
Istanbul is Turkey’s largest city, straddling Europe and Asia, with a rich mix of Byzantine and Ottoman history. The tour centres around Sultanahmet and nearby districts, with easy access to major landmarks, guided transfers, and modern transport linking key cultural sites. Cobblestone streets, hills, and historic architecture define the city experience.
Cappadocia and Erciyes Ski Resort lie in central Anatolia. Cappadocia features valleys, fairy chimneys, and underground cities, with cave hotels offering authentic stays. Erciyes is a volcanic mountain with pistes ranging from beginner to advanced, modern lifts, and mountain facilities. Transfers between airports, hotels, and activity sites are included to ensure convenience.
Participants should be in good health and reasonably fit to handle walking in Istanbul and Cappadocia for 2–3 hours at a time on uneven surfaces. Skiing at Erciyes requires basic balance and stamina; beginners may take group lessons, but physical preparation is recommended. Those with pre-existing heart, back, or respiratory conditions should consult a doctor.
Optional activities such as hot air ballooning require standing, climbing into baskets, and compliance with aviation safety regulations. Children under 6 cannot participate in ballooning. Skiing equipment and proper winter clothing are essential. Comprehensive personal insurance covering winter sports is strongly advised.
