Wander the Grand Bazaar and Spice Market, and enjoy a scenic Bosphorus cruise. Evening options include a traditional Turkish bath and dining experiences.
Days 5-9: Cappadocia
Fly to Kayseri or Nevşehir and transfer to your cave hotel. Witness sunrise from a hot air balloon (optional, weather permitting) over snow-covered valleys. Visit Goreme Open-Air Museum, Uçhisar Castle, and the underground cities of Derinkuyu or Kaymaklı. Explore Devrent and Pasabag valleys, and try local pottery or gentle horse-riding/ATV tours. Leisure days allow revisiting favourite sites or optional cooking classes.
Days 10-13: Erciyes Ski Resort
Transfer to Erciyes Ski Resort and arrange ski equipment rental. Spend four full days skiing or snowboarding on slopes suitable for all levels, with professional instructors available. Optional activities include snowshoeing or enjoying mountain cafés. Evening leisure allows for relaxation at the hotel or cultural experiences nearby. Day 14: Transfer to Kayseri Erkilet Airport for departure.
Istanbul is Turkey’s largest city, straddling Europe and Asia, with a rich mix of Byzantine and Ottoman history. The tour centres around Sultanahmet and nearby districts, with easy access to major landmarks, guided transfers, and modern transport linking key cultural sites. Cobblestone streets, hills, and historic architecture define the city experience.
Cappadocia and Erciyes Ski Resort lie in central Anatolia. Cappadocia features valleys, fairy chimneys, and underground cities, with cave hotels offering authentic stays. Erciyes is a volcanic mountain with pistes ranging from beginner to advanced, modern lifts, and mountain facilities. Transfers between airports, hotels, and activity sites are included to ensure convenience.
Participants should be in good health and reasonably fit to handle walking in Istanbul and Cappadocia for 2–3 hours at a time on uneven surfaces. Skiing at Erciyes requires basic balance and stamina; beginners may take group lessons, but physical preparation is recommended. Those with pre-existing heart, back, or respiratory conditions should consult a doctor.
Optional activities such as hot air ballooning require standing, climbing into baskets, and compliance with aviation safety regulations. Children under 6 cannot participate in ballooning. Skiing equipment and proper winter clothing are essential. Comprehensive personal insurance covering winter sports is strongly advised.
The centre specialises in combining sports and cultural travel, providing high-quality, customised experiences with international-standard accommodation and guided tours. Each package is designed to balance adventure and comfort, whether exploring historic cities or skiing on alpine slopes.
Sustainability and accessibility are considered throughout the trip. Experienced guides, safe transfers, and curated itineraries ensure participants enjoy a seamless experience. Every detail—from flights and transfers to optional tours—has been arranged to give travellers peace of mind while fully enjoying their winter adventure.
Skiing at Erciyes caters to all levels, from beginners to advanced skiers. Beginners can join group lessons, while more experienced participants can explore red and black runs. The resort offers varied terrain with wide, groomed pistes and lift access.
Participants should be able to stand for long periods, maintain balance on skis or snowboards, and be prepared for moderate physical exertion. Those with medical conditions should consult a doctor before participating. Helmets are recommended, and proper winter clothing is essential for comfort and safety.
Hot air ballooning is an optional activity. The ride offers views over the snow-covered valleys and fairy chimneys and lasts approximately one hour. Weather conditions can affect the flight, and it is booked separately.
Passengers must be able to climb in and out of the basket and stand for the duration. Children under 6 are not permitted, and pregnant participants or those with mobility issues should consult the operator. Advance booking is recommended as flights are weather dependent.
Hotels are selected for comfort, location, and local character. Istanbul uses a central 4-star hotel with Bed and Breakfast. Cappadocia features a cave hotel for an authentic experience. Erciyes Ski Resort is a modern hotel with Half-Board.
Rooms are equipped with modern amenities including WiFi, heating, and private bathrooms. Special dietary requests should be communicated in advance. Accessibility may be limited in Cappadocia due to cave hotel structure and uneven terrain.
Transfers between airports, hotels, and scheduled tours are included. Modern, air-conditioned vehicles are used, and group sizes are considered for comfort. Domestic flights from Istanbul to Cappadocia are included.
Participants are responsible for arranging international flights to Turkey. Some walking is required at airports and transfer points. All transfers are timed to match the itinerary, ensuring smooth connections between activities.
Breakfast is included at all hotels, with dinner included at the Erciyes Ski Resort. Daily lunchboxes are provided during ski days. Optional meals and beverages outside this plan are at participants’ own expense.
Participants with dietary restrictions should inform the organisers in advance to ensure meals are prepared according to needs. Vegetarian, vegan, or allergy-specific meals can generally be arranged with prior notice.
