Łódź and the central plains open Poland's gravel and bikepacking middle — longer distance days on rolling farmland and forest edges without alpine grades. It pairs naturally with a Warsaw stop: city river paddle, then plains miles. Wind and afternoon storms are summer factors; surfaces vary from paved connectors to true gravel — read each listing for distance and tyre notes.
Plains riding
Under the central lowlands, Łódź and the central plains suit beginner to improver tour pacing more than technical MTB. Guided and self-guided routes run when weather allows. Combine with Warsaw and the Vistula for kayaking before or after bike days, or continue south toward the Sudetes when you want hills.
Season
May–September for the main riding window; shoulder months are quieter with cooler air. Open the Book here tab for plains bike dates.
