Francisco Morazán is Tegucigalpa and the central highlands around it. La Tigra cloud forest is the outdoor reason to be here. The city is the flight reason. You can do a proper hill day and still make an evening meal in town if you start early and don't treat the park like a viewpoint stop.
La Tigra day hikes
Guided walks in La Tigra are the useful product: mud, trees, altitude that's modest but enough to feel after a sea-level island week. It's beginner-friendly if you're fit enough for a few hours of up and down. It's not Celaque.
