This is the wet east: El Yunque National Forest and the Fajardo waterfront, including Laguna Grande. You come for hiking in cloud and noise, then a dark kayak if the moon is kind. Ceiba, the ferry port for Vieques and Culebra, is next door. The parent region is San Juan & the Northeast.
Forest rules and night water
Some El Yunque areas use timed entry. Trails close, reopen and wash out. Go with a listing that names the trailhead, or check the forest site the morning you drive. Laguna Grande is not Mosquito Bay. It's the practical bio bay if you're sleeping near San Juan. Brightness still depends on the moon and rain.
Booking on adventuro
Walks and night kayaks are beginner-friendly if you swim and don't mind getting soaked. Open the Book here tab. Don't pair a long forest morning with a Ceiba ferry the same day.
