Set out from Marsa Alam for a full-day Dolphin House snorkeling experience in the clear waters of the Red Sea. With hotel pickup and return included, enjoy a relaxed day combining dolphin spotting, guided snorkeling, colorful coral reefs, swimming and lunch.
Duration: About 8 hours including transfers
Group Size: 1 to 15
Meeting Point: Hotel pickup in the Marsa Alam area
Format: Dolphin spotting, guided snorkeling, reef stops and lunch
After pickup from your Marsa Alam hotel, travel to the marina and meet the crew. Before departure, receive a safety briefing and information about the day’s snorkeling activities and responsible interaction with marine life.
Head across the Red Sea toward Dolphin House, an area known for wild dolphins. If dolphins are present and conditions allow, the crew will guide the experience while respecting the animals and their natural environment. Dolphins are wild, so sightings or swimming encounters cannot be guaranteed.
Continue the day with guided snorkeling stops at selected reef areas. Swim above colorful coral formations and look for tropical fish and other Red Sea marine life. Life jackets are available for guests who prefer additional flotation.
Between activities, relax and enjoy the Red Sea scenery. Lunch is served during the day, providing a comfortable break before further swimming or snorkeling.
Reef locations and the order of activities may change depending on weather, sea conditions and wildlife activity. At the end of the experience, return to the marina and transfer back to your hotel.
The experience departs from the Marsa Alam area on Egypt’s southern Red Sea coast. Dolphin House and the surrounding reef areas are known for clear water, coral formations and diverse marine life.
Hotel pickup and return are included within the designated Marsa Alam area. Exact collection times depend on your hotel location.
Previous snorkeling experience is not required. Guests should be comfortable in the water and able to follow the guide’s safety instructions.
Bring swimwear, a towel, sunscreen, sunglasses and a change of clothes. Life jackets are available for additional support in the water.
Combine dolphin spotting with guided snorkeling and the colorful underwater scenery of the Red Sea in one full-day Marsa Alam experience.
Hotel transfers, snorkeling guidance, reef stops and lunch are included for an easy day from your resort. Dolphins remain completely wild, allowing you to experience the area while respecting its natural marine environment.
We'll collect you from your Marsa Alam hotel and take you to the start point. Be ready with the kit listed for this session and any voucher details. The crew talk through safety, timing and how the snorkelling will run before you head out.
The core of the day is guided snorkelling time in the Red Sea. Stay with your group, listen to the briefing and ask if you want a slower pace or extra help with kit. Listen to paddle commands, spacing advice or riding tips from your guide and stay with the group unless told otherwise.
A meal is served between active sections so you can drink water, eat and reset in the shade before the next leg of the day. Your guide stays close throughout and can slow the pace if you want extra help with kit, spacing in the water or a quieter route on the trail.
After the last section you transfer back to your hotel in Marsa Alam. The whole experience is about 8 hours door to door, so keep the rest of your schedule flexible. Gather your belongings, thank the crew and double-check you have towels, dry clothes and anything you left on the boat or at the base before you leave.
Yes. Collection from hotels in the Marsa Alam area is part of this experience. Give your hotel name when you book so the driver can find the right gate, and be ready in the window you are given.
Build the whole 8-hour shape into your day rather than planning something tight immediately afterwards. Traffic along resort roads can slow the van.
No previous experience is required for this snorkelling. Your guide briefs you before you start and stays close while you try the activity.
Say if you are nervous or a weak swimmer so the crew can pace the session and offer flotation where it helps.
A meal is served as part of the day. Say any dietary needs when you confirm your place so the kitchen can try to match them.
Soft drinks beyond what is served may be extra. Bring cash if you want extras on the boat or at the base.
Practical kit is swimwear or comfortable clothes for the activity, sun protection and a towel. Closed shoes help on boats and in the desert.
A dry bag keeps phones off wet decks. Reef-safe sunscreen matters on long days in the Marsa Alam sun.
Activity equipment is provided for the session. Bring your own mask or riding boots only if you prefer gear you already know.
Fit helmets, life jackets or harnesses before you start so you are not adjusting them mid-session. Ask when you book if you need a slower pace or extra briefing time on the day.
This runs for groups from 1 to 15 people. Smaller groups mean more attention from your guide on the water or in the dunes.
Private formats keep the whole boat or vehicle to your party. Follow the guide's spacing in the water and on trails.
About 8 hours including collection and the main activity time. Keep the whole window free rather than squeezing other plans around it.
A late appearance at reception or the meeting point shortens time on the activity because the session leaves with the group.
Families are welcome when children are comfortable with the activity format. Infant seats may be available on transfers where listed.
Say ages when you book so the crew can plan seating, kit sizes and pacing on the water or in the desert.
This activity needs workable conditions. If wind, sea state or sand storms rule it out, the crew may reschedule or switch sites.
You will be told as early as they can once morning conditions are clear. Have a loose plan for the rest of the day.
Give your hotel name and a reachable phone number when you book. We'll confirm the pickup window or meeting pin closer to the day.
Notes are the place for dietary needs, ages, or a later pickup if you have an evening plan after the session.
