Enjoy 90 minutes of friendly competition in a safe and structured axe throwing session. Suitable for beginners, the session focuses on technique, safety, and fun games, all within a shared lane accommodating up to 10 participants. The environment is alcohol-free to ensure safety, and all equipment is provided for the session.
The session begins with a thorough safety briefing covering essential rules, proper handling of axes, and the correct stance and throwing techniques. This ensures that every participant is confident and aware of the safety standards before entering the lane.
Once everyone is familiar with the basics, the session progresses to guided games and challenges designed to improve accuracy, consistency, and confidence. Shared lanes allow participants to interact with others while practising their technique, creating a friendly, social environment. Instructors provide feedback throughout to help participants refine their skills and enjoy the experience safely.
The venue is located on Attleborough Fields Industrial Estate in Nuneaton, offering easy access for local residents and visitors alike. Ample on-site parking ensures convenience for those travelling by car, and the industrial estate setting provides a spacious, controlled environment for axe throwing.
Inside, the facility features multiple lanes with plenty of space for safe practice and instruction. A mezzanine floor is available for additional practice and private hire, providing flexibility for group events or private sessions. The alcohol-free policy helps maintain a secure and professional atmosphere, ensuring participants can focus on learning and enjoying the activity.
No previous experience is required. Participants should wear practical clothing and closed-toe shoes, and hair should be tied back to maintain safety.
Anyone aged 11–17 must be accompanied by a paying adult. All participants are expected to follow safety instructions carefully, and late arrivals may not be allowed to join, as sessions are tightly scheduled.
The Nuneaton venue, opened in August 2024, is designed to offer a safe, professional, and engaging experience for all participants. With multiple lanes, a mezzanine floor, and a growing programme of events and leagues, the facility caters to beginners, enthusiasts, and group events alike.
The team prioritises both safety and enjoyment, creating an inclusive environment for learning and social interaction. Whether attending a casual taster session, participating in a league, or hiring the space for a private event, participants can expect expert guidance, quality equipment, and a welcoming, well-structured setting.
Children aged 11–17 may participate only when accompanied by a full-price paying adult. This ensures safety and supervision throughout the session.
Participants under 11 are not permitted due to the nature of the activity. Adult supervision is mandatory for all younger attendees.
No prior experience is required. Instructors provide a safety briefing and full coaching on stance, grip, and throwing technique before and during the session.
Structured games and practice sessions help participants develop accuracy and confidence in a safe environment, suitable for first-time throwers.
Practical clothing and closed-toe shoes must be worn. Loose accessories or long scarves should be avoided to prevent interference while throwing.
Hair should be tied back, and participants should wear comfortable clothing that allows free movement. This ensures safety and full participation in all activities.
Participants should arrive at least 10 minutes before the session start time to complete check-in and the mandatory safety briefing.
Late arrivals will not be able to participate as they will miss the safety brief and as session schedules are strict to accommodate all bookings. Punctuality ensures a smooth experience for all participants.
Private sessions are available subject to availability, providing a more personalised experience. The mezzanine floor can also be hired for practice or events.
This is ideal for team-building, parties, or groups wanting a dedicated session. It allows a more focused experience without sharing the lane with other participants.
To book a private session, please use the 'Can't find dates or have a private group?' button above the booking form to send us a query.
Yes, participants can book both activities, but it is recommended to schedule axe throwing first. This ensures smooth transitions between sessions and avoids overlapping start times.
Booking both activities provides a full experience of the venue’s offerings, maintaining safety and enjoyment throughout the day.
