An energetic evening in Llandudno awaits with interactive axe-throwing challenges that mix skill, strategy, and plenty of laughs. Augmented technology brings a modern twist to each game, giving everyone the chance to aim for bullseyes, compete with friends, and create a memorable night out. Ideal for groups, families, or parties looking for something different in North Wales.
The session begins with a friendly welcome and a short safety briefing from an experienced host, ensuring everyone feels confident with their axe. After a chance to practise your aim, the games kick off, each offering a unique challenge to test skill and focus.
You’ll have seven games to try, each with its own rules and objectives. Target Practice and 21s focus on scoring more points than your opponents, while Battle Royale challenges you to hit progressively smaller targets before others. Target Lock tests your memory and precision as targets vanish and reappear, and Noughts and Crosses and Noughts and Crosses: Eliminator combine strategy with accuracy. Battle Axes is all about eliminating your opponent’s targets to claim victory.
Hosts guide the action throughout, keeping score, offering tips, and ensuring everyone enjoys themselves.

No prior experience is necessary to enjoy the session. Each session is approximately 60 minutes. This includes the safety briefing, practice time, and gameplay across the seven augmented axe-throwing games. The structure ensures everyone has time to practise, play multiple games, and enjoy a balanced experience without feeling rushed.
Participants are encouraged to arrive 20 minutes early to ensure the full session can be enjoyed. This buffer time allows registration, safety checks, and warm-up throws before the games officially begin.
The session accommodates up to 16 participants. Multiple lanes are available, so several groups can play simultaneously without crowding, allowing everyone to be actively involved.
Larger groups are encouraged to split into smaller lanes to maximise gameplay and interaction. The session is ideal for friends, family gatherings, birthday parties, or team-building events, offering a shared social experience.
Comfortable clothing that allows movement is recommended. Closed-toe shoes are essential to ensure safety while walking around the lanes and handling axes. Loose or restrictive clothing should be avoided to prevent interference with your throws.
No special equipment or uniforms are required. Participants can bring their own gloves or accessories if they prefer, but everything else, including axes and targets, is provided by the centre.
