Pedal through Barcelona’s iconic streets on a private guided bike tour focused on the extraordinary work of Antoni Gaudí. This 2.5-hour tour offers a more personal and flexible way to experience the city’s architectural highlights, guided by a local expert who knows the area inside out. You’ll explore famous facades, quiet backstreets, and local neighbourhoods that reflect Gaudí’s lasting impact. It’s a laid-back and informative ride designed for individuals, families, or small groups who want to make the most of their time in Barcelona.
Starting from a central point near the Gothic Quarter, your guide will lead you through some of Barcelona’s most architecturally significant areas. The route includes Eixample, where you’ll stop to admire the exteriors of Casa Batlló and Casa Milà, before continuing on to the world-famous Sagrada Família. Each stop includes time to take photos, ask questions, and hear the story behind Gaudí’s vision and the symbolism embedded in his work.
From there, the tour continues toward the Gràcia district—a more local part of the city where Gaudí lived and worked. This quieter area reveals lesser-known buildings and artistic touches that reflect his early influences. The route is relaxed and adjustable depending on group interest and energy, with optional add-ons like a visit to the outside of Park Güell if time allows. Helmets are provided, and the pace is suitable for most fitness levels.
The tour begins in central Barcelona, near Plaça Catalunya, providing easy access to key areas of the city. The route takes you through the elegant Eixample district, with its wide boulevards and bike lanes, making for a smooth ride.
As you pedal through local neighbourhoods like Gràcia, you'll experience both well-known Gaudí landmarks and hidden gems. The route is designed for comfort, using quieter streets and avoiding busy traffic, ensuring an enjoyable and safe cycling experience.
Riders should be comfortable cycling in an urban environment and able to manage a 2.5-hour tour with multiple stops. Helmets are included and recommended.
Children are welcome on the tour—please get in touch in advance if child seats or smaller bikes are needed, so these can be arranged ahead of time.
Led by knowledgeable locals with a passion for both architecture and cycling, these private tours are a flexible and thoughtful way to explore Barcelona. The small-group format allows for more interaction, more time at each site, and the ability to adapt the tour to suit your pace and interests.
Whether you’re here for the first time or looking to learn something new, this Gaudí-focused ride offers both insight and enjoyment.
Comfort is key when cycling. It’s best to wear clothes suited to the day’s weather and that allow you to move freely. If it’s chilly, bring layers—your body will warm up once you’ve been riding for a few minutes, and it’s helpful to be able to remove a layer if needed.
Avoid clothing that’s too tight or restrictive, especially for longer rides.
