Whether you're out for a couple of hours or planning a full week of cycling, these cargo bikes make navigating the city both practical and fun.

What to Expect

After arriving at either of the central Barcelona locations, staff will walk you through the basic handling and features of the cargo bike. The design includes a low step-through frame, making it easy to get on and off. Before setting off, you’ll have the chance to test it out in a quiet area nearby to get used to the turning style and braking. Staff are always happy to demonstrate how to ride with children in front and offer practical tips for steering and safety.

The cargo bike comes with 7 gears, seatbelts for two children seated on a small bench, and anti-puncture CST tyres. It also features a rear 26” wheel and a smaller 20” front wheel, which helps keep the centre of gravity low and aids balance. Once you're confident, you'll be ready to explore the city’s network of bike lanes, family-friendly streets, and cycle-safe areas. With designated parking areas widely available, you’ll find it easy to stop off and enjoy Barcelona’s parks, plazas, and attractions along the way.

Location

There are two conveniently located shops in central Barcelona for bike pick-up: Carrer de Montserrat, 8 and C/ dels Tallers, 45. Both are within easy reach of the Gothic Quarter, El Raval, and key bike routes across the city.

From here, you can easily access wide boulevards, beaches, and popular sights like Parc de la Ciutadella and Arc de Triomf—all comfortably reachable by cargo bike.

Prerequisites

There’s no previous experience required, though being confident on a regular bicycle is recommended. The cargo bike may feel a little different at first, particularly when turning, but the team will ensure you're fully comfortable before heading out.

Children must be able to sit up unaided and wear the fitted seatbelts.

Why Choose Us

The centre offers a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, ideal for families and first-time cargo bike riders. Long opening hours, free Wi-Fi, and cold drinks at both locations make pick-up and drop-off simple and convenient.

The bikes are well-maintained and Dutch-designed, chosen for their reliability and ease of use—especially for city riding with kids.
