Capelli Tempest 40 Boat Rental in Ibiza and Formentera

When making your booking, it is important to select the correct season as prices and availability change throughout the year. Each boat is listed with seasonal rates, so choosing the right option helps ensure your reservation is processed correctly and avoids delays when confirming your trip.

July and August are considered the high season due to the increased demand during the summer months. June and September fall into the mid season, while the rest of the year is classed as low season.

Before your rental day, you will receive all the information needed to find the meeting point in Santa Eulalia, along with details about your boat and departure time. Once you arrive, the team will guide you through the handover process and explain everything you need to know before leaving the marina, including safety equipment, anchoring procedures, and how the boat operates. There will also be time to organise bags, drinks, and any extras you are bringing onboard before departure.

Most rentals last around 8 hours, giving you plenty of time to enjoy Ibiza and Formentera at your own pace. Return times are usually before 19:00, although later returns or sunset extensions may sometimes be arranged depending on availability. On your return, the team will assist with docking and refuelling procedures, check the boat back in, and make sure everything is completed smoothly before the end of the day.

With space for up to 11 guests plus skipper, the Capelli Tempest 40 works very well for larger family groups, celebrations, or groups of friends wanting to spend the day together comfortably. Multiple seating and sunbathing areas help prevent the boat from feeling crowded even during full-day charters.

Large exterior spaces also make it easier for everyone to enjoy the day in different ways at the same time. Some guests may choose to sunbathe while others swim, relax in the shaded seating area, or use the paddle board around the anchorage.

Lunch stops can easily be included as part of the charter, particularly around Formentera where several well-known beachfront restaurants offer tender pickup directly from the boat. Your skipper can suggest different locations depending on the chosen route and the atmosphere your group prefers.

Many guests choose to combine swimming stops with a relaxed lunch overlooking the sea before continuing the route later in the afternoon. Advance reservations are often recommended during the busiest summer months, especially around Ses Illetes and Cala Saona.

Guests have access to front and rear sunbeds, a shaded seating area beneath the awning, interior cabin, onboard bathroom, freshwater shower, and twin bathing platforms for easy swimming access. The layout is designed to provide comfort during longer days on the water while still offering plenty of open space for relaxing.

Bluetooth and USB connections are also available for music and device charging, while the onboard fridge helps keep drinks cold throughout the day. Combined with the spacious deck layout, the boat is well suited to full-day charters around Ibiza and Formentera.

Routes are flexible and can often be adapted depending on weather conditions, sea state, and the type of experience your group wants from the day. Some guests prefer calm turquoise bays and restaurant stops, while others choose more scenic coastal cruising or quieter swimming locations away from busy beaches.

Your skipper will usually recommend the best option on the morning of the charter after reviewing the wind forecast and conditions. This helps ensure the route remains comfortable, safe, and enjoyable throughout the entire trip.

Paddle boarding and snorkelling equipment are included, giving guests the chance to enjoy the water throughout the day without needing to organise additional equipment separately. Calm bays and clear water around Ibiza and Formentera create excellent conditions for swimming and exploring the coastline.

Optional extras such as Seabobs and Scubajets can also be arranged before departure for groups wanting something more active during the charter. These are especially popular during longer anchor stops around quieter coves.

Most guests bring swimwear, towels, sunglasses, sunscreen, lightweight clothing, and phones or cameras for the day. Soft bags are usually recommended because they are easier to store onboard than hard suitcases or large luggage.

If you plan to stop at beach clubs or restaurants during the charter, it can also help to bring a light change of clothes or cover-up for going ashore. Since many facilities are already onboard, guests generally do not need to bring much with them to stay comfortable throughout the trip.
