Built with a military-style deep V hull, The Wasp is designed for guests wanting a quicker and more agile boating experience around Ibiza and Formentera without sacrificing comfort onboard. Compact, efficient, and easy to handle, it is a great option for couples, smaller groups, and anyone wanting to explore hidden coves, beaches, and swimming spots with flexibility throughout the day.
Heading out from Santa Eulalia, the Avila Tuono Type 7 quickly gets up to cruising speed thanks to its lightweight sporty design and 250hp Suzuki engine. Front sunbathing space gives guests room to relax while moving between anchorages, while the shaded rear seating area offers protection from the midday sun during longer cruises. Guests can connect music through the Bluetooth sound system, cool drinks in the onboard fridge, swim from the bathing ladder, or stop for paddle boarding in calm turquoise bays around Ibiza and Formentera.
Because of its size and responsive handling, this boat is particularly well suited to exploring smaller coves and quieter swimming areas throughout the day. Routes can be adapted depending on weather conditions, sea state, and whether your group prefers scenic cruising, beach stops, snorkelling, or more time anchored in calmer water. Its lower fuel consumption also helps keep the experience efficient while still covering plenty of coastline during the charter.

Starting from Santa Eulalia makes it easy to reach both Ibiza’s coastline and nearby Formentera routes without long travel times at the beginning of the day. Positioned on the east coast of Ibiza, the marina allows flexibility when choosing routes based on weather and sea conditions.
Surrounding areas range from lively beaches and restaurant anchorages to smaller coves and quieter swimming spots only accessible by boat. The shorter size and sporty handling of The Wasp also make it well suited to exploring tighter bays and less crowded areas along the coastline.
This boat can be rented with or without skipper depending on qualifications and experience. Guests choosing a skipper-led charter can simply relax and enjoy the day, while bareboat rentals may require valid licences and previous boating experience before confirmation.
Suitable clothing for a full day at sea is recommended, including swimwear, towels, sunglasses, sunscreen, and lightweight layers. Sea conditions can occasionally affect the planned route during the day, particularly around more exposed parts of the coastline.
Years spent operating around Ibiza and Formentera have helped the local team create flexible boating experiences suited to different group sizes, weather conditions, and styles of charter. Edgar and the crew enjoy helping guests discover quieter anchorages, scenic swimming areas, and routes suited to the conditions on the day.
A relaxed approach combined with strong local knowledge helps each charter feel easy-going from start to finish. Whether guests want beach restaurants, snorkelling spots, or simply a comfortable day cruising between bays, the aim is always to provide a smooth and memorable experience on the water.
When making your booking, it is important to select the correct season as prices and availability change throughout the year. Each boat is listed with seasonal rates, so choosing the right option helps ensure your reservation is processed correctly and avoids delays when confirming your trip.
July and August are considered the high season due to the increased demand during the summer months. June and September fall into the mid season, while the rest of the year is classed as low season.
