Coasteering Adventure, Alcudia North Coast

No previous coasteering experience is required for this activity. The session is designed to be beginner-friendly, with guides introducing each stage gradually. You’ll start with smaller jumps and easier sections before progressing to more challenging ones, so there’s no pressure to attempt anything you don’t feel comfortable with.

That said, a basic level of confidence in the water is essential. The activity involves swimming in open water, climbing, and moving across rocky terrain, so being comfortable with these environments will make the session more enjoyable. The guides are always on hand to adapt the experience to suit each participant’s comfort level.

The jumps vary in height, starting at around 2 metres. This gives everyone a chance to practice and build confidence before moving on to the bigger leaps. For those feeling ready, there are opportunities to try jumps of up to 10 meters, though these are entirely optional.

Nobody is ever forced to jump higher than they want to. The guides encourage participants to challenge themselves but also emphasise personal choice and safety. Many people find they gain confidence throughout the activity and surprise themselves by attempting bigger jumps by the end.

You’ll need to bring a towel, spare clothes, and swimwear to wear under the wetsuit provided. It’s also a good idea to bring sun protection for before and after the session, as well as water and a light snack to refuel once the activity is complete.

The centre provides all essential safety gear, including wetsuits, helmets, and footwear. If you’d like to take home photos and videos from the day, remember to bring some cash or a card, as the full media package can be purchased at the end of the activity.

A moderate level of fitness is recommended. The session involves swimming, climbing over rocks, and repeatedly getting in and out of the sea, so a reasonable level of stamina will make it more enjoyable. You don’t need to be an athlete, but you should be comfortable being active for around four hours.

The pace of the activity is adjusted depending on the group, with breaks built in along the way. This makes it suitable for families and groups of mixed ability, provided everyone is confident in the water and prepared for physical activity.

Yes, children from the age of 10 are welcome to join. This makes coasteering a great option for adventurous families who want to enjoy Mallorca’s coastline together. Younger participants will be guided carefully and encouraged to try the activities at their own pace.

Parents or guardians need to accompany children during the activity. This ensures that the whole family can enjoy the experience together and that children are supported throughout. Safety is always the priority, and the guides make sure everyone feels secure.

Coasteering sessions are subject to weather and sea conditions. If conditions are unsafe due to rough seas, strong winds, or heavy rain, the session may need to be rescheduled. The safety of participants is always the top priority.

If the session is cancelled because of the weather, you’ll be offered an alternative date or a refund. The guides will usually monitor conditions closely in the days leading up to your booking and will inform you as soon as possible if changes are necessary.
