Evenings in Ibiza feel completely different from the water, especially as the sun begins to drop behind the horizon across San Antonio Bay. This shared sunset boat tour combines coastal cruising, relaxed music, swimming stops, and panoramic sea views while guests enjoy one of the island’s most popular experiences.
Guests board the boat in San Antonio during the late afternoon before heading west along Ibiza’s coastline as the daylight begins to soften. After a short introduction from the crew, the captain cruises towards calmer bays and open coastal viewpoints known for their excellent sunset views across the Mediterranean.
During the trip, there is time to swim, relax onboard, or use the paddle boards and snorkelling equipment before sunset begins. Music plays throughout the journey, helping create a laid-back atmosphere while guests enjoy complimentary drinks and the changing colours across the sky. Calm waters and warm evening light make this one of the most enjoyable times of day to experience Ibiza from the sea.
As the sun lowers towards the horizon, the boat stops in a scenic location where guests can fully take in the view away from the crowded shoreline. Orange, pink, purple, and red tones reflect across the water before the boat slowly returns towards San Antonio as evening settles over the bay.
San Antonio Bay is one of Ibiza’s most popular sunset locations thanks to its open western-facing coastline and uninterrupted sea views. The surrounding area combines calm bays, dramatic rocky coastline, and sheltered swimming spots that are particularly enjoyable during the evening hours.
The departure marina is located close to restaurants, cafés, and beach areas within San Antonio itself, making it easy to continue the evening after returning from the tour. Watching the sunset from the water also provides a quieter alternative to the busier bars and beaches nearby.
No previous boating or watersports experience is required for this activity. Guests simply need to feel comfortable spending time on the water and follow the crew’s guidance during swimming stops.
Children must be accompanied by an adult throughout the tour. Swimwear, towels, and light clothing suitable for the evening sea breeze are recommended.
Operating around Ibiza and Formentera for more than 40 years, the team combines local knowledge with experienced captains and carefully maintained boats. Sunset routes are selected according to conditions on the day to help provide the best possible views and overall experience.
Safety remains a priority throughout the activity, with regular boat checks, qualified crew, and onboard supervision included as standard. Smaller group sizes also help create a more relaxed atmosphere onboard.
Watching the sunset from the water gives a completely different perspective compared to viewing it from land. The open sea views, changing sky colours, and relaxed atmosphere onboard create a memorable evening experience.
The route is planned specifically to position the boat in ideal sunset viewing areas along Ibiza’s western coastline.
Complimentary drinks are available onboard throughout the experience. Guests can relax with a drink while enjoying the music and coastal scenery during the cruise.
The atmosphere is designed to feel sociable and easy-going without becoming overcrowded or rushed.
Swimming stops are included before sunset whenever sea conditions allow. Guests can cool off in calm bays and enjoy the final swim of the day before the sun begins to set.
Paddle boards and snorkelling equipment are also available during these stops.
Many couples choose this tour because of the relaxed atmosphere and evening setting. The calm cruising, sunset views, and quieter environment on the water make it especially popular for special occasions or holidays together.
Families and groups of friends also regularly join thanks to the social but laid-back atmosphere onboard.
The tour departs from the Port of San Antonio in Ibiza. Full meeting information is provided after booking confirmation.
The marina area is centrally located within San Antonio Bay and easy to reach from nearby resorts and accommodation.
Guests should bring swimwear, towels, sunglasses, and suitable evening clothing for after sunset. A light layer can also be useful once the boat begins returning later in the evening.
Phones and cameras are popular during the tour, especially during sunset, so waterproof protection can be helpful.
No previous experience is necessary to use the paddle boards during the swimming stops. Calm conditions in the bays often make the activity suitable for beginners.
The crew remains available to assist guests who may be trying paddle boarding for the first time.
