Get younger players into the action with this two-hour SplatMaster paintball session designed specifically for ages 8 to 12. Using specially designed low-impact markers, this session keeps it fun, fast-paced, and completely safe — with unlimited paintballs included.
After arriving on site, children are fully briefed by friendly, experienced marshals before being issued lightweight safety gear and a low-impact SplatMaster marker. These pump-action paintball guns shoot at much lower pressure than standard paintball markers, meaning there’s no bruising or pain — just plenty of mess and laughter. The session is fully supervised throughout, and children are guided through a mix of fun, age-appropriate game formats.
Unlimited paintballs are included, so there’s no stress over running out mid-game. Over the course of two hours, kids will play several fast-paced rounds in specially selected battle zones, designed with younger players in mind. Parents are welcome to join in if they’d like to play alongside their children. There’s plenty of space for spectators too, with access to on-site facilities including parking, a sheltered seating area, and a café with drinks and hot snacks available.
The venue is located on a privately owned 19-acre site near Tunbridge Wells, with a combination of woodland and open field game zones. The environment is tailored for younger age groups during SplatMaster sessions, offering manageable terrain and clear layouts for safe play.
It’s easily accessible from across Kent and nearby counties, with free parking and facilities including sheltered seating and toilets. Being close to Tunbridge Wells town centre also means there are food and accommodation options nearby for groups planning a full day out.
No previous experience is required. The SplatMaster session is open to all children aged 8–12 and is carefully managed to ensure safety, confidence, and plenty of fun. All necessary equipment and safety gear is provided on the day.
Parents or guardians must remain on-site during the session, whether participating or spectating. Sessions require advance booking and are particularly popular for birthdays and group celebrations, so early booking is recommended.
Sessions are run by experienced, friendly staff who know how to keep kids engaged, safe, and smiling throughout. The low-impact format is perfect for introducing younger players to paintball without the risks associated with standard markers.
With dedicated game zones, top-quality gear, unlimited paintballs, and the option for family members to join in, it’s a hassle-free and exciting way to celebrate birthdays, school events, or just burn off some energy outdoors. Facilities include a café, parking, and covered areas — everything needed for a great group session.
Yes, SplatMaster paintball is specifically designed for children aged 8 to 12 and uses low-impact equipment that significantly reduces the force of each shot. The markers are spring-loaded rather than gas-powered and fire smaller paintballs at a much lower velocity, meaning there’s no risk of bruising or painful hits. Full face and head protection is also provided and must be worn at all times during gameplay.
All games are supervised by experienced marshals who ensure that safety rules are followed throughout the session. The layout of the game zones and the pace of play are both adjusted for younger players, helping to build confidence and keep the experience fun and non-intimidating. It’s a fantastic introduction to paintball that prioritises safety without sacrificing excitement.
While the number of games can vary slightly depending on the group size and pace, children typically play between 5 and 7 short-format games during the two-hour session. Each round is quick, lasting around 5–10 minutes, and game types are kept simple and engaging — often involving team objectives like capturing a base or tagging an opposing group.
Games are played back-to-back with short breaks for water, reloading, and instructions. Since paintballs are unlimited during the session, there’s no need for children to worry about conserving ammo, allowing them to stay fully engaged in the action from start to finish. Marshals keep the energy high and make sure everyone gets involved.
Yes, a parent or guardian must remain on-site for the duration of the session, whether that’s to spectate or to take part in the games. There’s a designated viewing area with sheltered seating, so you can watch comfortably or take photos while the children play. If you’d like to participate, adults are welcome to join in the SplatMaster session using the same low-impact equipment.
It’s a great option for families who want to play together without the intensity of standard paintball. The inclusive design of these sessions means everyone — kids and grown-ups alike — can have fun without worrying about pain or complex rules. It’s especially popular for birthdays and family outings.
Yes, smaller group bookings are possible — just contact the team directly to arrange it. The standard setup is for 10–30 children, but they regularly accommodate smaller groups for birthdays, family groups, or more casual meet-ups. Staff can adjust the format of the session to suit your numbers, ensuring everyone stays involved and engaged.
If you're joining as a smaller group, you may be mixed with others on the day depending on availability and bookings. Alternatively, private sessions for smaller groups can often be arranged with enough notice. It’s best to book early, particularly for weekends and school holidays, as these slots fill up fast.
