 🌊 What to Expect

Board at Marina Port Vell and settle into the wide social spaces as the catamaran leaves the marina. Once underway, the route passes familiar harbour landmarks such as the Maremagnum area, Marina Vela, and the Columbus Monument, offering a clear view of the city’s shoreline and port activity. Music can be played via the onboard system while drinks are served and the group finds their preferred spot on deck.

As the boat reaches the outer harbour, sails are raised when conditions allow, creating a quieter and smoother ride along the coast. The Bali 4.2’s wider beam and open layout give everyone room to move around, whether that’s sitting in the shade, stretching out on the foredeck, or gathering around the cockpit seating.

If sea conditions are suitable, the skipper will stop near the coast, typically off Nova Icària Beach, for a swim. Paddle boards and snorkel masks are available for guests who want to get into the water, while others can remain on board. The trip finishes with a steady return to Marina Port Vell, timed to suit the length of your chosen charter.

⛵ The Boat: Bali 4.2 – Manuela

The Bali 4.2 builds on the same design principles as the 4.1 but with more length, width, and social space throughout. At around 13 metres long with a wider beam, it offers a noticeably roomier feel, particularly on deck, making it a strong option for groups who want extra space without increasing passenger numbers.

Its open-plan layout connects the cockpit, saloon, and foredeck into one continuous social area, allowing guests to spread out while still feeling part of the same group. This design works especially well for longer charters, relaxed dining on board, and comfortable sailing along the coast with minimal movement and excellent stability.

📍 Location

Marina Port Vell sits at the centre of Barcelona’s waterfront and is easy to reach from the old town, beaches, and central districts. Boarding here avoids long transit times and keeps the experience focused on sailing rather than manoeuvring through traffic.

Starting from this marina allows quick access to both the harbour and open sea, maximising time spent along the coast during shorter charters.

🧾 Prerequisites

No sailing experience is required, and there is no minimum age. The trip is suitable for mixed groups, including families, provided all guests are comfortable spending time on a boat.

Swimming is optional and always dependent on conditions. Guests should be able to board with light assistance if needed.

🌿 Why Choose Us

The Bali 4.2 offers noticeably more space than smaller catamarans, with a wider deck, multiple lounging areas, and a layout designed for social groups. This makes it particularly well suited to longer stays on board or groups who want room to spread out without feeling crowded.

Running each trip as a private charter keeps the experience flexible and personal. Combined with a professional crew, central departure point, and inclusive onboard setup, it’s a straightforward option for relaxed sailing along the Barcelona coast.
