We had a great time. Fred was a great coach. Will definitely come again
Our instructor Harlyn was great! She is obviously really skilled and made sure we knew what to do and my daughter really learned a lot!
Steph was great, loved the lesson
Coasterring with Lizard adventure. Great day out. Rory was great with us. Got some sea snacks along the way. Great jumps for all levels. Saw the seals. All in all a great day out
I was impressed that Steve contacted me to ask if my adolescents would like a more adventurous experience and tailored the coasteering to them. They all had a great time - came back exhilarated and exhausted. Thanks also for taking some great photos
Chris and Chloe were great guides and coaches, and provided us a wonderfull experience.
We had the best time! There 5 in our group today and Ru was the best guide. He made sure everyone was safe, comfortable with the level of challenge and knowledgeable about the area, flora, and fauna. The views from the cliffs and water were absolutely stunning! I’m so glad…
We had a fab time with Steve guiding us. A wide range of abilities and Steve enabled us all to meet our challenges and succeed. Highly recommend this as an amazing activity. Thumbs up for Steve. Thank you.
Five stars great fun and engaging and entertaining hosting!

Mullion Harbour or Cadgwith is the launch, chosen the day before for wind and swell. Sit-on-top kayaks follow the cliffs, caves and quieter coves for about two hours, inside a three-hour booking that includes changing. Single or double boats are available, and photos come with the tour.
The day before we send the launch, parking and start time. On the day you kit up, hear a brief, then paddle a sheltered stretch before the route opens out along the cliffs. The guide keeps the pace with the least confident boat and leaves time to look into caves.
Please arrive 15 minutes early. Footwear that can get wet is required. Children under 14 share a double with an adult unless they already paddle a single well. Light rain does not stop the tour; a dangerous sea does.
Tours run from Mullion Harbour or Cadgwith on the Lizard Peninsula. The square at The Lizard, TR12 7NJ, is the area pin. You cannot pick the harbour when you book.
We send SMS and email with directions and parking. Both launches sit a short drive from the Lizard village and give access to coast you cannot walk.
No kayaking experience is needed. You do need to be able to swim. Children from five can join. Anyone under 14 shares a double kayak with an adult aged 18 or over, unless they can already paddle a single.
Bring swimwear, trainers or water shoes, a towel and any medication. Bare feet are not allowed. Your own shorty or full-length wetsuit is fine.
An AALA-licensed team has paddled this peninsula for more than 20 years. The launch is chosen the day before so you are not leaving a harbour into a wind that does not work.
Photos come with the tour. If you want the route to yourselves, book the private Lizard kayak session instead.
The exact launch is confirmed the day before by SMS and email. It will be Mullion Harbour or Cadgwith, around the Lizard peninsula.
Please arrive 15 minutes early. Follow the parking notes in that message.
Mullion Harbour or Cadgwith. We choose the day before based on wind, swell and sea state, then send directions and parking.
You cannot pick the harbour when you book. Wait for that message rather than driving to a spot you have guessed.
About three hours including changing and the brief, with around two hours on the water. The pace follows the group and the sea.
Arrive 15 minutes early so changing does not eat into the paddle time. If anything about the booking is unclear, send a message before you travel and we will sort it.
No. The first minutes are in sheltered water so you can get used to the boat. The guide stays with the least confident paddler.
If you already paddle, say so at the start so we can give you more coast and less first-stroke talk.
Five. Children under 14 share a double kayak with an adult aged 18 or over, unless they can already paddle a single and we agree that on the day.
The adult in the double needs to be a capable paddler. Tell us ages when you book so we can put the right people in the right boats or keep a child with an adult.
Both. Singles suit people who want their own boat. Doubles suit pairs, nervous paddlers and children under 14. We help you choose on the day.
All the boats are sit-on-tops, so a capsize is a climb back on. If you forget something essential we will say so on the day rather than sending you out in kit that does not work.
Swimwear, trainers or water shoes, a towel, sunscreen and sunglasses. Flip-flops and bare feet are not accepted.
We supply the wetsuit, buoyancy aid, helmet, paddle and kayak. Your own shorty or full-length suit is fine.
Yes. The tour is in open water. A buoyancy aid is on the whole time, but you still need to be comfortable in the sea if you come off the boat.
If you are unsure, say so when you book. If anyone in the booking is unsure, tell us when you book rather than waiting until you are already at the water.
Light rain does not cancel a tour. We cancel or move when the wind or swell makes an open-water paddle unsafe. The other Lizard launch is the first option.
If we cancel, we rearrange. The day-before message is also when we confirm the sea is usable.
Yes. The guide takes pictures during the tour and shares them afterwards. You do not need a phone in the boat.
We cannot promise a shot of every cave. The priority is the group and the sea. Ask the guide at the end how the pictures will be sent, as that can change with the size of the group.
Yes. Solo bookers join other people on the same slot and usually take a single kayak.
If you want the route to yourselves, book the private Lizard kayak session instead. If you would rather not share the session, look at the private listing for the same activity instead.
