Train for your PADI Open Water Diver certification over three focused days, starting with a calm pool introduction in Albacete before completing your qualifying dives in the clear waters of Cabo de Palos.
Day one takes place in a pool in Albacete from 16:00 to 21:00. You meet your instructor, learn how the kit fits together and complete two confined-water dives practising core skills in shallow, controlled water.
Days two and three move to Cabo de Palos for open-water training. You repeat and refine skills at depth, then complete the qualifying dives needed for your PADI Open Water certification. The course content matches the standard PADI syllabus; the pool day simply gives you a gentler start.
Confined-water training uses a pool in Albacete, inland from the coast. Open-water dives take place at Cabo de Palos, one of the Mediterranean's best-known dive areas with reefs, walls and typically good visibility.
Los Belones near Cartagena is the coordination base for the course. The mix of pool and sea locations lets you build skills calmly before diving in open water.
No prior diving experience is required. You must be aged 10 or over, able to swim 200 metres unaided and float for 10 minutes. Comfort in water makes the early skills sessions easier, but we guide you through every step at a pace that suits you.

After certification you can dive independently with a certified buddy to 18 metres at sites worldwide that accept PADI credentials. Many students explore extra sites at Cabo de Palos straight after the course.
Your instructor can suggest local sites and conditions suited to newly qualified divers based on how you felt during the qualifying dives.
