As the afternoon begins to cool, climb aboard a quad and set off on a guided journey through Mallorca's south-west landscapes before ending the day beside the sea. This sunset experience combines winding mountain roads, spectacular viewpoints, charming coastal towns and golden evening light, creating a memorable way to explore the island.
Leaving Paguera behind, you'll begin your evening adventure after a full safety briefing and introduction to your automatic quad bike. Once everyone is comfortable, your guide leads the group towards Mallorca's quieter countryside, where traditional fincas, pine forests and open landscapes replace the busy resort atmosphere. The lower evening temperatures make this one of the most enjoyable times of day to ride.
Soon the route climbs into the Tramuntana Mountains, where twisting roads and dramatic scenery create an exciting drive. Around each bend you'll discover new viewpoints overlooking the coastline, with one of the biggest highlights being panoramic views across to Dragonera Island as the setting sun casts warm colours across the landscape. There are plenty of opportunities to stop for photographs while your guide shares local knowledge about the area.
From the mountains, the journey continues to the stylish harbour of Port d'Andratx. Here you'll have time to enjoy the lively waterfront, lined with cafés, fishing boats and luxury yachts, before following the spectacular coastal road past Camp de Mar. As the sun sinks lower, the changing colours across the sea make this section of the drive particularly memorable.
To finish the experience, you'll stop at a peaceful beach where you can enjoy a refreshing drink, take an evening swim if you wish, or simply sit back and watch the last of the daylight disappear over the Mediterranean. Afterwards, you'll return to Paguera with unforgettable photographs, fantastic memories and a completely different perspective of Mallorca.
Paguera provides the perfect starting point for an evening tour, with easy access to both the Tramuntana Mountains and Mallorca's beautiful south-west coastline. Within a short drive, you'll leave the main tourist areas behind and find yourself surrounded by peaceful countryside and elevated viewpoints.
Along the route you'll experience several of the region's best-known highlights, including Dragonera viewpoints, Port d'Andratx and the coastal road towards Camp de Mar. Travelling later in the day gives these locations an entirely different atmosphere, with softer light and quieter roads adding to the overall experience.
A valid original car driving licence is required for all drivers, who must be at least 18 years old. Passengers are welcome from the age of 7, and no previous quad biking experience is necessary thanks to the full briefing provided before departure.
Closed-toe footwear should be worn throughout the tour, along with comfortable clothing suitable for the weather. Bringing swimwear and a towel is recommended if you'd like to make the most of the beach stop before the return journey.
Watching Mallorca change from afternoon sunshine to sunset while travelling by quad creates a completely different experience from exploring during the middle of the day. The carefully planned route combines mountain scenery, coastal roads and harbour views, allowing you to enjoy the island at one of its most beautiful times.
Every tour is led by experienced guides using modern CF Moto 550 EFI automatic quads that are comfortable for both drivers and passengers. With helmets, headscarves, water, fuel and insurance all included, you can simply focus on enjoying the ride and the changing scenery around you.
The biggest difference is the atmosphere. Instead of travelling during the heat of the day, you'll explore Mallorca as the afternoon turns into evening, with cooler temperatures, quieter roads and beautiful golden light transforming the scenery around you.
The route has also been chosen to make the most of sunset viewpoints, including views towards Dragonera Island and the coastline. Many guests choose this tour specifically for the evening colours and relaxed end-of-day atmosphere.
The tour is planned around the evening light, giving you the best opportunity to enjoy Mallorca as the sun begins to set. Depending on the time of year, you'll experience changing colours across the mountains and sea throughout the journey.
As with any outdoor activity, the exact sunset depends on seasonal daylight and weather conditions, but the route has been designed to maximise the evening views regardless of the time of year.
No experience is needed. Before leaving the starting point, your guide explains exactly how to operate the automatic quad, along with the safety procedures and what to expect during the drive.
Most guests find the vehicles straightforward to use after just a few minutes. The guide sets a pace suitable for everyone, making the experience enjoyable for both beginners and experienced riders.
Yes. Each quad has been designed with two riders in mind and includes a long comfortable seat with a supportive backrest for the passenger.
Many couples and friends choose to share a quad, allowing them to enjoy the experience together while taking turns admiring the views along the route.
Several planned stops are included throughout the journey, giving you opportunities to enjoy panoramic viewpoints, take photographs and appreciate the changing scenery without feeling rushed.
You'll also spend time at Port d'Andratx before finishing with a relaxing stop beside the sea, where you can enjoy a drink or simply take in the evening atmosphere before heading back.
Yes. One of the final stops is at a small beach where you're welcome to enjoy a swim if you bring appropriate swimwear and a towel.
If you'd rather stay dry, you can simply relax by the water with a drink while watching the changing colours across the Mediterranean before the return journey.
