Explore Mallorca’s southwest coastline aboard a fully electric llaüt on a relaxed eco-focused boat experience departing from Port d’Andratx. This quiet coastal tour combines swimming, snorkelling and paddle boarding with the opportunity to discover protected waters and marine environments without the noise of a traditional motorboat.
Ideal for small groups, the experience offers a slower and more personal way to enjoy Mallorca’s coastline while learning more about the local marine ecosystem and responsible boating practices.
The experience begins from Port d’Andratx, where you’ll board the electric llaüt and head out along Mallorca’s rugged southwest coastline. The electric motor creates a quieter and smoother style of navigation, allowing guests to enjoy the sounds of the sea and surrounding coastline while reducing environmental impact.
During the trip, the skipper will guide the boat towards suitable swimming and snorkelling areas depending on weather and sea conditions. The coastline around Andratx is known for its rocky coves, clear water and protected marine areas, making it particularly well suited to snorkelling and relaxed coastal exploration. Guests can also use the included paddle boards and underwater sea scooter throughout the experience.
Between water activities, there is time to relax on board with drinks, fruit and Mallorcan snacks while enjoying views of the coastline and surrounding hills. The combination of small group size, electric cruising and quieter coastal areas creates a more peaceful experience compared to busier boat tours operating around the island.
This experience departs from Club de Vela Port d’Andratx on Mallorca’s southwest coast. Port d’Andratx is one of the island’s best-known natural harbours, surrounded by coastal cliffs, smaller coves and open Mediterranean waters.
The area is particularly popular for boating and snorkelling due to its combination of rocky coastline, clearer water conditions and quieter protected sections of coast. Its location also provides direct access to some of Mallorca’s less developed coastal scenery.
No previous experience is required for this experience. Guests simply need to feel comfortable around water if they wish to participate in swimming or use the included equipment during the trip.
Participants should bring swimwear, towels and sunscreen. Sunglasses, hats and lightweight clothing are also recommended due to extended sun exposure while on the water.
This experience focuses on low-impact coastal exploration through the use of a fully electric boat. Reduced engine noise and emissions help create a more comfortable atmosphere on board while minimising environmental disturbance within sensitive marine environments.
The emphasis is on helping guests connect with Mallorca’s coastline in a more responsible and relaxed way. Combining local coastal knowledge with smaller group experiences allows visitors to enjoy the sea at a slower pace while learning more about the island’s marine ecosystem.
