Get ready for an action-packed coasteering session on Mallorca’s west coast, combining cliff jumps, psychobloc, and snorkelling. This fun adventure is perfect for friends and families looking to try something exciting while exploring hidden coastal spots. Expect plenty of laughs, challenges, and time in the water.
Your session begins at the meeting point, where you’ll receive a wetsuit, helmet, and footwear. Depending on the season, you’ll either gear up here or walk 10 minutes to the starting point on the shore. After a quick safety briefing, you’ll warm up with your first jump, choosing a height between 1 and 15 metres. The gradual approach helps everyone feel confident before taking on bigger jumps.
Next, you’ll tackle the psicobloc route along the cliffs. Climb, balance, and jump over the water as you make your way along the rocks. Falling into the sea is all part of the fun, and you’ll get plenty of chances to try again. This part of the session combines gentle challenges with lots of laughs and opportunities to cool off in the water.
The session finishes with more exploration of the coastline. You’ll have time for snorkelling, small jumps, and climbing around the rocks. Instructors will guide you throughout, keeping the adventure safe, fun, and flexible for your group.
The activity takes place at Fornells Cove, a quiet spot on Mallorca’s west coast known for clear waters and natural rock formations. It’s just a short walk from the meeting point to the shore, giving easy access without losing the sense of adventure.
The surrounding area features cliffs, small bays, and natural pools, making it perfect for jumps, climbing, and a bit of snorkelling. It’s a safe and fun spot to enjoy the coast while getting out on the water.
Participants should be able to swim and must not have serious back conditions. Pregnant individuals cannot take part for safety reasons.
Anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be admitted. You’ll need to provide your weight, height, and shoe size in advance to ensure your equipment fits properly.
The team running the session is passionate about Mallorca’s coastlines and outdoor adventures. With years of experience in caving and coastal sports, they make sure every activity is safe, enjoyable, and full of fun.
Since 2016, they have focused on creating accessible adventures that suit all levels. Their friendly, hands-on approach helps participants feel confident while trying something new and exciting on the water.
Coasteering is a mix of cliff jumping, scrambling along rocks, and swimming or snorkeling along the coastline. During the session, you’ll move through a set route along the cliffs, taking part in jumps of varying heights and exploring small coves and rock pools.
Instructors guide the group every step of the way, ensuring safety and fun. The focus is on enjoying the coast, challenging yourself in a controlled environment, and trying activities you might not usually do on your own.
Yes, children from 10 years old can take part, provided they can swim and meet the safety requirements. Younger participants will be guided closely, and jumps are gradual so they can build confidence.
Parents or guardians can join in or watch from safe spots on the rocks. The session is designed to be enjoyable for groups and families, keeping the pace friendly and safe.
Jumps range from 1 metre up to 15 metres. The session begins with small jumps to allow participants to get used to the height and water entry before attempting higher jumps.
You have complete control over which heights you try, and instructors are there to coach you on safe techniques and reassure you at each stage. Falling into the water is expected, and it’s all part of the fun.
Each participant receives a wetsuit, helmet, and footwear suitable for climbing and swimming. The wetsuit keeps you warm in the water, while the helmet and shoes protect against bumps and slippery rocks.
All equipment is checked before the session, and instructors ensure that it fits properly. Safety is prioritised at every stage, from jumping to climbing along the rocks.
Coasteering is moderately active. You’ll be climbing rocks, jumping into the water, and swimming, which provides a good mix of exercise without being overly strenuous.
The session is structured to allow rests and gradual progression. Instructors can adjust activities to suit the fitness level and comfort of the group, ensuring everyone can take part safely.
Yes, all participants must be able to swim confidently. Some jumps and sections of the psicobloc route involve entering the water, so swimming ability is essential for safety.
Life vests are not provided, so instructors rely on participants being comfortable and capable in the water. Those who are nervous swimmers can stay in shallower areas or focus on climbing sections.
You should bring a towel and a change of clothes for after the session. It’s also a good idea to have a small bottle of water to stay hydrated, especially on warmer days.
All other equipment, including wetsuit, helmet, and shoes, is supplied. It’s recommended to wear a swimsuit under the wetsuit for comfort.
