A 1100 m zip line sits in the hills outside Kathmandu, about 50 to 60 seconds on the cable. A private vehicle collects you from your hotel, and an English-speaking driver stays with you for the hour each way.
Harness on, then the safety brief at the platform. We'll collect you from your Kathmandu hotel and drive about an hour to the site. Staff fit a helmet as well, and when they call you forward you'll leave the ramp for 1100 metres of cable.
At the landing they'll unclip you and walk you back to the vehicle. The same driver takes you to your hotel. Wear closed shoes and clothes you can put a harness over. The usual operating window is during the day, often between 09:00 and 15:00.
You do not need previous zip experience. Listen to the launch calls and keep your hands where staff tell you. Meals are not included; you'll be back in the city in time to eat there.

About the centre
Kathmandu
We'll take you into the Himalaya from our base in Lazimpat, Kathmandu, with guides who have been running treks, day hikes, and mountain flights from this valley for more than two decades. You'll find short walks on the rim of the city, multi-day lodge treks toward Annapurna and Everest, and days on the water or in the air around Pokhara.
We'll handle permits, lodge nights, and hotel pickup inside Kathmandu so you can focus on the trail. You'll travel with English-speaking guides, and the kit you need for the activity is included. We're members of the main Nepal and international travel associations, and part of every trip supports community and conservation work in the hills.
