Discover one of the fastest-growing watersports with personalised wing foil lessons designed to help you build confidence step by step. Whether you're completely new to wing foiling or looking to refine your technique, every session is adapted to your progress, allowing you to develop safely while making the most of your time on the water.
Choose the lesson format that suits your preferred learning style. Private lessons provide one-to-one coaching with one student, one wing foil setup, and one instructor throughout the session. Semi-private lessons include two students, each with their own wing and equipment while sharing one instructor. Every lesson takes place in a designated training area using modern equipment selected to suit your ability.
Training follows a structured progression while remaining flexible enough to match your individual development. Your first session begins with learning about the wind, understanding the equipment, and practising wing control on the beach before entering the water. Once you're comfortable handling the wing on land, you'll move onto a high-volume wing foil board, initially starting from your knees before gradually standing as your balance and confidence improve.
As your skills develop, the focus moves towards lifting the foil above the water and experiencing your first controlled flights. Later sessions introduce riding upwind, allowing you to return to your starting point more efficiently, before progressing to longer rides, smoother turns, and changes of direction. Alex and the instructor team adjust every lesson to your progress, ensuring you're confident with each stage before introducing new techniques. Although the recommended programme is four days, you're welcome to book as many days as suit your goals.
Lessons take place in Sant Pere Pescador, a popular destination for wind-powered watersports thanks to its consistent conditions and wide stretch of sandy coastline. The meeting point is close to Carrer del Mar before heading into the designated teaching area.
The spacious beach provides plenty of room for learning without feeling crowded, while the surrounding area offers cafés and local facilities if you're spending the day by the coast between sessions.
Wing foil lessons are suitable for beginners as well as those looking to improve their existing skills. No previous wing foiling experience is required, as every session is adapted to your current ability.
Your instructor will tailor the lesson according to your confidence and progress, ensuring you learn at a comfortable pace while building strong foundations for future development.
Every lesson focuses on quality rather than simply spending more time on the water. Careful attention is given to your posture, technique, and body position throughout each session, helping you progress efficiently while avoiding common mistakes.
Led by Alex, the experienced instructor team creates personalised lessons that combine modern equipment with practical coaching. The goal is to help every student improve naturally while enjoying a safe and supportive learning environment.
No. These lessons are suitable for complete beginners as well as riders who would like to improve their existing skills. Everything is introduced progressively, allowing you to build confidence before moving onto more advanced techniques.
Rather than following exactly the same pace for every student, your instructor adapts the lesson around your progress, ensuring you're comfortable before moving on to the next stage.
Private lessons provide dedicated one-to-one coaching throughout the session, allowing your instructor to focus entirely on your progress and learning style.
Semi-private lessons include two students, each with their own wing and equipment while sharing one instructor. This offers a more social learning experience without needing to take turns using the equipment.
Your first session begins on the beach, where you'll learn about wind direction, equipment setup, and how to control the wing safely before entering the water.
Once you've developed confidence on land, you'll begin practising on a high-volume wing foil board, initially starting from your knees before gradually progressing to standing as your balance improves.
Once you've become comfortable balancing on the board and controlling the wing, your instructor will begin introducing the techniques needed to lift the foil out of the water.
Every student progresses differently, so the timing depends on your confidence, conditions on the day, and how quickly you develop the required control and balance.
Although you're free to book as many days as you wish, four days provide enough time to develop each skill naturally without rushing the learning process.
Spreading your training over several sessions allows your instructor to build on your progress, reinforce good habits, and introduce more advanced techniques as your confidence grows.
Everything needed for your lesson is provided, including the wing, board, leash, harness, buoyancy vest, wetsuit, helmet, and walkie-talkie communication system.
Using quality equipment that's matched to your ability allows you to concentrate entirely on learning without needing to organise specialist gear yourself.
Clear communication is an important part of learning wing foiling, particularly once you're further away from the shoreline.
The walkie-talkies allow your instructor to give immediate feedback and coaching while you're on the water, helping you make corrections quickly without returning to the beach after every attempt.
