Canyoning, a sport that has thrived in Europe for years, is making waves in the UK, and we're at the forefront of exploring and developing exhilarating canyoning venues in the Lake District. The Lakeland Extreme Canyoning is the newest addition to our adventures, offering the ultimate challenge for adrenaline seekers. Prepare for an extraordinary journey as you descend through a narrow canyon with fast-flowing water, abseiling straight down waterfalls and swimming through deep pools in a breathtaking environment. If you're comfortable in deep water, confined spaces, and at heights, this is your chance to experience an exceptional adventure that will leave you with unforgettable memories and a massive smile.
Our journey begins with a 10am meet-up, where you'll gear up in wetsuits and receive a safety briefing.
We'll then embark on a 45-minute walk to the top of the canyon, including some steep sections of the path.
The adventure includes multiple technical abseils down waterfalls, swimming through deep pools, and navigating the stunning canyon environment.
We'll exit lower down and enjoy an easy walk back to the roadside, concluding the adventure around 4pm.

For the safety of your valuables and an uninterrupted adventure, please leave behind mobile phones, jewelry, including rings, and other valuables.
Simply arrive in your regular clothes, and we'll provide top-quality 5mm full-length wetsuits that work exceptionally well. You'll also need sturdy trail shoes, trainers, or hiking boots—please avoid beach shoes or sandals.

The meeting point is easy to access from Windermere, Ambleside, Keswick, or Penrith. We often meet clients in Ambleside, or if you’re staying nearby we may arrange to meet at your accommodation.
Yes. Please bring at least one litre of water per person and a packed lunch & snacks. During the cooler months, you may wish to bring a flask of something hot: tea / coffee / hot chocolate / hot juice all work well.
