Tell the beach team if anyone in your group is a weaker swimmer so we can double-check sizing, adjust the zone for the day, and suggest the calmest corner of the bay.
Your safety comes first. If wind or sea state is unsuitable we may delay your start, shorten your hire, or suggest a different craft or time according to our cancellation policy.
The beach team monitors conditions through the day and will advise honestly at check-in. We never send you out when the marked area is unsafe for your chosen activity.
Transport to and from Oddicombe Beach is not included with hire. Most visitors drive or walk from local accommodation on the English Riviera.
Parking is available near the beach. Allow a few extra minutes to walk kit down to the sand with our team, especially on busy summer days.
Hire length follows the duration options on your chosen product, typically from one hour up to four hours depending on craft and how long you want on the water.
Return kit to the beach desk at the end of your slot so equipment is ready for the next group and we can keep the hire queue moving smoothly.

Look for the watersports hire area on the sand beside the main slipway. Our staff will run through your paperwork, fit buoyancy aids, and hand over kit there.
