Take the first step into the world of scuba diving with a globally recognised certification. This programme offers a perfect blend of theory and practice to help you become a confident and skilled diver. With personalised training and hands-on experience, you'll feel at ease exploring the underwater world.
Start with six academic sessions covering the essential theory behind scuba diving. You'll learn about dive physics, safety practices, equipment usage, and marine conservation, all presented in an engaging and accessible way.
Next, take part in six confined water sessions held in a pool. These sessions are designed to teach you practical skills such as breathing techniques, buoyancy adjustments, and emergency protocols in a safe and controlled environment.
Finally, complete four open water dives in natural conditions. This is where you’ll apply everything you’ve learned, gaining confidence while practising under professional supervision. By the end of these sessions, you'll be fully prepared to dive independently to depths of up to 18 metres.
The course is conducted in Borehamwood. With excellent facilities and easy access to both pool and open water locations, you'll enjoy a comfortable and supportive environment.
Conveniently located for participants from London, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, and Buckinghamshire, this is the ideal spot to start your diving training.
Participants must be fit to swim and ready to take part in both classroom and in-water training. No prior diving certification is required.
