We'll fit your mask, snorkel and fins for you at Deep Dive Dubai, then you spend about an hour on the surface of the 60-metre indoor tank with the group, and you don't need a scuba certificate. You look straight down into the deep water rather than along a reef.
When you arrive, you'll check in and join a short talk before we fit your mask and snorkel. The team will check the seal and show you how to clear water from the tube before you step in. Fins go on at the edge of the tank so you can walk to the water without slipping, and the first minutes are for getting used to breathing through the tube with your face in the water. You can return to the deck at any time if the mask leaks or you want a rest.
Once you're happy on the surface you'll stay with the group and look down into the tank. The pool holds 14 million litres and drops to 60 metres, so the view is a long, clear column of water rather than fish on a reef. This is not a free swim to the bottom, and the instructor keeps the group together so you are not drifting on your own.
Your hour is indoors from start to finish, with time to adjust kit and to sit out if someone needs a break. You'll change and dry off at the venue before you leave.
You'll snorkel at Deep Dive Dubai in Nad Al Sheba, where the pool is a single vast indoor tank rather than a resort lagoon. You stay on the surface looking straight down into deep, clear fresh water, with changing rooms and showers on the same level as the deck.
Please arrive at the venue unless your booking includes hotel collection. Public transport and taxis serve the area; give yourself a few minutes to check in and fit mask and fins before the hour starts. We send the start time beforehand so you know when to be at the desk or in the lobby for pickup.
You'll need to be at least six years old and happy putting their face in the water. Children travel with an adult. No scuba certificate is required.
This is not a swimming lesson. If you cannot float comfortably with a mask on, tell the team at check-in so they can keep you near the shallow shelf.
Snorkelling at Deep Dive suits families and first-timers who want an hour on the surface with staff on the deck. We fit masks at the tank edge, keep the group together over the deep water, and send a clear start time before your day.
The session is paced for nervous swimmers as well as confident ones, with time to sit out on the deck if someone needs a break. You look down into a 60-metre column of clear water without needing a scuba certificate.
Please meet us at Deep Dive Dubai. We'll send meeting details before your day. Arrive with time to change before your hour starts. If hotel collection is included in your booking, please wait in your hotel lobby at the time we send you.

We'd suggest giving yourself time to change before the water hour. Late arrival can shorten the time you have in the pool.
You don't need a scuba certification. You breathe at the surface through a snorkel, with a mask and fins, and stay in the indoor tank with the group.
You should still be happy putting your face in the water. If a child is nervous, tell the team at check-in so they can keep that guest near the shallow shelf.
You'll need to be at least six years old. Children travel with an adult who stays with them at the venue and in the water if the venue asks for it.
Please tell us the ages when you confirm. The tank is deep, so younger guests stay where the team can see them, not on a free swim to the bottom.
You'll spend about one hour at the venue. That covers a short brief, kit fitting, and time in the pool with the snorkel.
You will not spend the full hour on the surface without a pause. There is time to adjust the mask and to rest on the deck if someone needs a break.
Groups stay at a maximum of six. You snorkel as a guided group in the indoor tank rather than wandering the pool on your own.
Families who arrive together stay on the same hour where the venue can. Solo guests join the next available hour.
Hotel transfer may be available as an add-on at checkout. We'll send your start time and whether collection is included before your day.
If you're making your own way, come to the meeting point we send you. Public transport and taxis serve the area.
The pool is indoors, so rain and wind outside do not stop the hour. The water is fresh and filtered on a continuous cycle.
If you have a cold or ear pain, tell the team before you put the mask on. We would rather you sit out than force a blocked ear into the water.
Please wear a swimsuit under clothes you can change out of, and bring a towel plus a dry outfit for afterwards. The venue has changing rooms, so you do not walk out in a wet suit.
You don't need to own a mask or snorkel. Leave jewellery and loose hair clips in your bag so they cannot catch on the kit or fall into the tank.
You should be comfortable floating with your face in the water. No swimming badge is required, but you cannot treat this as a learn-to-swim lesson.
Anyone under 18 should arrive with a parent or guardian for the paperwork. Complete the health questions honestly at check-in.
Yes. You can leave the water, sit on the deck, and go back in once the mask feels right again. The team would rather you take that pause than keep swimming with a leak or a tight chest.
Younger guests stay where the team can see them. This is not a free swim to the bottom of the tank.
