Enjoy a one-of-a-kind experience swimming through crystal-clear underground lakes in one of Mallorca’s most beautiful caves. This activity is suitable for families, friends, and groups, offering the chance to explore impressive rock formations and hidden chambers with expert guidance. With no set time limit, you’ll have plenty of opportunity to enjoy the cave at your own pace.
Your experience begins at the meeting point where you’ll be provided with a wetsuit, helmet, and lighting equipment, all packed into a backpack for your convenience. You’ll then enjoy a 35-minute walk across gentle terrain to reach the cave, carrying any snacks, drinks, or optional gear such as fins.
On arrival, you’ll change into wetsuits before swimming around 200 meters to reach the entrance. Once inside, you’ll explore a series of chambers, swim through underground lakes, and stop to learn about the geological formations that make this cave so special. The session is completely safe and led by experienced guides who are passionate about sharing Mallorca’s natural beauty.
During the visit, photos and videos are taken so you can take home memories of the day. Each group receives three complimentary photos, with the option to purchase a full set if you’d like. The relaxed pace ensures you can take your time, swim comfortably, and really enjoy the experience without feeling rushed.
The cave is located near Cala Romántica on Mallorca’s scenic east coast, an area known for its hidden bays and clear Mediterranean waters. This part of the island is rich in natural features, making it an excellent place for exploring both above and below ground.
The meeting point is at the entrance to the Flip Flop Hotel in Cala Romántica, just outside Manacor. From there, the group sets off together for the walk to the cave, with guides providing support and information every step of the way.
To join this activity, participants must be confident swimmers as swimming is essential to reach and explore the cave. A moderate level of fitness is also required for the 30–35 minute walk carrying a backpack.
Children aged 8 and above are welcome as long as they meet the swimming requirement. This makes the activity a great option for families and mixed groups looking for something memorable to do together in Mallorca.
