The course includes comprehensive training in rescue techniques, race management, and mark laying.

We are situated on the Southern shore of Grafham Water in a small village called Perry in West Cambridgeshire. There is easy access to us from the surrounding area through the A1 and the A14.
The course is designed for individuals aged 16 and older who are involved in supporting sailing, windsurfing, or canoeing activities. It is ideal for those who act as safety boat operators, escort craft personnel, or coach boat handlers during racing or training activities.
You should have a basic understanding of sailing boats and windsurfers. Additionally, an RYA Powerboat Level 2 certificate is required prior to taking this course to ensure foundational powerboat handling skills.
The course is conducted over two consecutive days, from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM each day. It consists of a mix of practical on-water sessions and classroom instruction to cover theoretical aspects and practical applications.
