You should have completed the RYA Powerboat Level 2 course and have sufficient experience in powerboat handling. Confidence in basic skills is essential.
Yes, upon successful completion of the practical assessments, you will receive the RYA Advanced Powerboat certificate, an internationally recognised qualification.
Yes, night navigation is a key component of this course. You will gain practical experience in handling a powerboat during night passages.
We conduct the course in most weather conditions using our closed-top training vessel. However, in extreme weather, the course may be rescheduled for safety reasons.
Accommodation is not included, but we can recommend nearby options if you need a place to stay. Please enquire during booking.
We typically use our fully equipped training vessel for consistency in training. If you wish to use your own boat, please discuss this with us when booking.

Great experience. Very knowledgeable instructor. On enclosed boats so really made a difference in early March, plus closer to what I currently have.

Jason was an excellent tutor - spot on with health and safety such practicing ‘man over board’ and giving patient instruction on how to berth without ramming the pontoon too hard (especially in the wind which was fierce at times).
The best time ever !!! I would happily pay again to have this training session with Jason
