We had a great time. Fred was a great coach. Will definitely come again
Our instructor Harlyn was great! She is obviously really skilled and made sure we knew what to do and my daughter really learned a lot!
Steph was great, loved the lesson
Coasterring with Lizard adventure. Great day out. Rory was great with us. Got some sea snacks along the way. Great jumps for all levels. Saw the seals. All in all a great day out
I was impressed that Steve contacted me to ask if my adolescents would like a more adventurous experience and tailored the coasteering to them. They all had a great time - came back exhilarated and exhausted. Thanks also for taking some great photos
Chris and Chloe were great guides and coaches, and provided us a wonderfull experience.
We had the best time! There 5 in our group today and Ru was the best guide. He made sure everyone was safe, comfortable with the level of challenge and knowledgeable about the area, flora, and fauna. The views from the cliffs and water were absolutely stunning! I’m so glad…
We had a fab time with Steve guiding us. A wide range of abilities and Steve enabled us all to meet our challenges and succeed. Highly recommend this as an amazing activity. Thumbs up for Steve. Thank you.
Five stars great fun and engaging and entertaining hosting!

A private kayak tour from Mousehole keeps the harbour start and the caves, but the pace stays with your group. The booking is about three hours including changing, with around two hours on the water. Children from five share a double with an adult. Photos come with the tour.
Meet at South Quay, kit up, then tell the guide what you want: a gentle harbour loop or more coast. The first strokes stay in shelter. The rest follows the rocks and caves at your pace, with time to float and look around.
Please arrive 15 minutes early. Footwear that can get wet is required. Children under 14 share a double with an adult unless they already paddle a single well. If Mousehole is not safe we move to a more sheltered launch and message you.
Mousehole sits a short drive from Penzance. The meeting point is South Quay Car Park, The Wharf, TR19 6RT. The harbour gives a sheltered start.
If the swell or wind is wrong we may launch from Mullion, Cadgwith or Hayle and send directions. Parking is in the quay car park. Toilets and cafes sit in the village.
No kayaking experience is needed. You do need to be able to swim. Children from five can join. Anyone under 14 shares a double kayak with an adult aged 18 or over, unless they can already paddle a single.
Bring swimwear, trainers or water shoes, a towel and any medication. Bare feet are not allowed.
An AALA-licensed team has run this harbour for more than 20 years. A private booking means the route stays with your group, which helps families and mixed abilities.
Photos come with the tour. If you are happy joining other bookers, the open Mousehole kayak tour is the cheaper option.
Meet at South Quay Car Park, The Wharf, Mousehole, TR19 6RT. From Penzance follow signs for Mousehole and park on the quay.
Please arrive 15 minutes early. We message you if the launch has to move.
The guide is yours. The route and the pace follow your group, which helps families and people who want more or less coast than an open slot.
The kit, the photos and the three-hour shape are the same. If you are happy joining other bookers, the open tour is the cheaper option.
From two people up to eight. Tell us the headcount and ages when you book so we can plan singles, doubles and coaches.
The booking starts at two because a private session is priced from that minimum. If your headcount changes after you book, send a message so we still have the right number of boards, boats or suits.
Five. Children under 14 share a double kayak with an adult aged 18 or over, unless they can already paddle a single and we agree that on the day.
The adult in the double needs to be a capable paddler. Tell us ages when you book so we can put the right people in the right boats or keep a child with an adult.
South Quay Car Park, The Wharf, Mousehole, TR19 6RT. Kit up there, then launch from the harbour.
If Mousehole is not safe we send a new launch. Check your messages the day before. If the meeting point has to move, that message is the one to follow, not the pin on the listing.
No. The first strokes stay in the harbour. The guide stays with the least confident paddler and builds the route from there.
If you already paddle, say so at the start so we can give you more coast. The first minutes are always the slower ones, so there is time to say if you want more coaching or more coast.
Swimwear, trainers or water shoes, a towel, sunscreen and sunglasses. Flip-flops and bare feet are not accepted.
We supply the wetsuit, buoyancy aid, helmet, paddle and kayak. Leave phones and bags in the car or a locker. The water is not kind to either.
Yes. The tour is in open water. A buoyancy aid is on the whole time, but you still need to be comfortable in the sea if you come off the boat.
If someone is nervous, say so when you book. If anyone in the booking is unsure, tell us when you book rather than waiting until you are already at the water.
Light rain does not cancel a tour. We move or cancel when the wind or swell makes an open-water paddle unsafe. Another launch is the first option.
If we cancel, we rearrange. If you are driving a long way, check your messages the evening before so you are not on the road before we have confirmed the plan.
Yes. The guide takes pictures during the tour and shares them with your group afterwards.
We cannot promise a shot of every cave. The priority is the group and the sea. Ask the guide at the end how the pictures will be sent, as that can change with the size of the group.
Both. We help you choose on the day. Children under 14 share a double with an adult unless they already paddle a single well.
All the boats are sit-on-tops, so a capsize is a climb back on. If you forget something essential we will say so on the day rather than sending you out in kit that does not work.
