Climb Bali's most popular active volcano by torchlight and reach the crater rim before sunrise. A private guide sets the pace up forest and lava trails, serves breakfast above the clouds overlooking Lake Batur, then leads you down through black lava fields. Optional hot spring soaking afterward soothes tired legs before the drive back to your hotel.

Mount Batur (1,717 m) rises above Lake Batur in Kintamani, Bali's central highlands north of Ubud. Trailheads start from Toya Bungkah side villages.
Moderate fitness, slip-resistant footwear and warm layers. Minimum age 10. Not suitable for pregnant travellers or those with significant knee or cardiovascular issues without clearance.
