Steph was great, loved the lesson
Coasterring with Lizard adventure. Great day out. Rory was great with us. Got some sea snacks along the way. Great jumps for all levels. Saw the seals. All in all a great day out
I was impressed that Steve contacted me to ask if my adolescents would like a more adventurous experience and tailored the coasteering to them. They all had a great time - came back exhilarated and exhausted. Thanks also for taking some great photos
We had a fab time with Steve guiding us. A wide range of abilities and Steve enabled us all to meet our challenges and succeed. Highly recommend this as an amazing activity. Thumbs up for Steve. Thank you.
Five stars great fun and engaging and entertaining hosting!
It was great and our guide was very enthusiastic, personable and conscientious. Thankyou!
Absolutely fabulous. Chris(?) the instructor was very knowledgeable and helpful but also definitely a ‘people person’. It was my first ever time and I loved every second of it. Will definitely do again. But wanting to make this a frequent thing for me. Sad to think it may not be…
Adam was a very knowledgeable and seemingly very experienced guide on our sea kayaking adventure from Mullion Cove. We had a great time, paddling alongside seals and in and out of caves and coves.

Experience the wild Cornish coastline up close on a private coasteering session tailored to your group. Whether you're planning a family day out, an active gathering with friends, or marking a special occasion, this is an exciting and flexible way to explore the ocean. With expert guidance and optional challenges, you can make it as high-energy or as relaxed as you like.
Upon arrival, you’ll meet your guide and be provided with all necessary equipment, including a full-length wetsuit, helmet, and buoyancy aid. Your guide will then give a thorough safety briefing, ensuring that you feel confident and prepared for the adventure ahead. The guide will assess the sea conditions, discuss with your group your preferences, and design the perfect route based on the weather, tide, and group ability.
Expect to traverse the coastline, navigate across natural rock formations, swim through crystal-clear pools, jump from cliff edges, and explore hidden caves and gullies. Each activity is fully optional, so if you prefer a more relaxed pace, you can skip certain challenges. Your instructor will always be on hand to provide support and make the experience fun, safe, and memorable.
The full session lasts up to three hours, with around two hours spent in the water. The remaining time is dedicated to briefing, changing, and making sure everyone is fully prepared. You’ll be able to capture the experience with a free photography package, providing you with professional-quality photos of your adventure. These photos are sent to you after the session, giving you lasting memories to cherish.
Private coasteering sessions take place at a number of fantastic coastal locations on the Lizard Peninsula, including Church Cove, Mullion Cove, Bass Point, and Predannack. Each area offers a unique set of features including caves, swim-throughs, jumps, and tidal pools.
The exact location is confirmed the day before your booking, based on weather and sea conditions, ensuring you visit the safest and most suitable spot. All locations are within close proximity to TR12 7NJ, and you’ll receive detailed meeting instructions.
There’s no previous experience required to join the session, but participants should be able to swim 50 metres unaided. The minimum age for participation is 6 years old, and each activity is adaptable to the group’s level of confidence and ability.
A basic level of fitness is recommended to ensure you get the most out of your adventure.
With over 20 years of experience in delivering adventure sports in Cornwall, the team combines exceptional local knowledge with a passion for the coast. Our instructors are highly trained and include national team coaches, qualified surf and coasteering guides, and experts in outdoor safety. Their primary goal is to provide a safe, enjoyable, and engaging experience for each group, whether you're taking your first steps into coasteering or looking for a challenging adventure.
The centre is renowned for its flexibility and personal approach to each session, ensuring that your experience is tailored to your preferences. Whether you're after an action-packed day or a more relaxed exploration, the team will work with you to create the perfect coasteering adventure.
Your safety is our number 1 priority. On arrival, each member of your group will be equipped with a warm winter wetsuit, buoyancy aid, diving mask and helmet.
The adventure will be run at your pace and all our jump spots have small (1 metre), medium (1-3 metre) and large (3 metre +) options to match your confidence.
You will need to bring a pair of trainers (beach shoes not accepted) and a pair of swimming shorts to wear over the top of the wetsuit. You are welcome to bring your own wetsuit if you have one.
For your coasteering session, you will need to wear swimwear underneath the wetsuit we provide. We also recommend wearing trainers or wetsuit boots suitable for water activities (beach shoes with elastic ties are not suitable).
You’ll need to bring or wear shorts over your wetsuit to protect it from sharp rocks or barnacles. Additionally, bring a towel and changing robe for after the session. We will provide a full-length wetsuit, buoyancy aid, and helmet, so you only need to focus on your personal comfort.
The minimum age for our private coasteering sessions is 6 years old. We tailor the session to suit all ages and abilities, ensuring the challenges are optional and adjusted to the group’s preferences.
For children under 18, the session can be completed without adult supervision, but we do recommend enjoying the experience as a family or group for added fun and safety.
While a strong swimming ability is not required, participants must be able to swim at least 50 metres unaided. The session involves a variety of water activities, such as swimming, cliff jumping, and navigating through tidal pools and gullies.
However, you will be equipped with a buoyancy aid, which provides extra floatation and support in the water. Your guide will assess the group’s ability and adapt the session accordingly.
We do not allow glasses and any obstructing jewellery to be worn whilst Coasteering. Jewellery includes rings, necklaces, bracelets and hooped earrings.
All valuables can be stored safely in our safe whilst we recommend using contact lenses during the lesson. Prescription goggles are acceptable.
Safety is our top priority, and weather conditions are carefully assessed to ensure the best possible experience. If the conditions are not suitable for the planned coasteering location, your guide will decide on an alternative nearby location or reschedule the session for another day.
You will be informed of any changes to the location the day before the session. The guide will always ensure the location chosen is the safest and most appropriate for the conditions on the day.
You are welcome to bring your own wetsuit as long as it is a full-length, warm suit that is suitable for coasteering. If you prefer to use your own equipment, please let us know in advance so we can confirm that everything is safe and meets our requirements.
However, all necessary equipment, including a full-length wetsuit, buoyancy aid, and helmet, is provided as part of the session.
