This outdoor climbing session is designed to teach parents the essential skills needed to belay their children safely at indoor climbing walls. You will learn how to support and supervise your child during climbing sessions, empowering you to take them to indoor climbing centres without the need for an instructor. The course takes place in a scenic outdoor setting, giving you the chance to enjoy the benefits of climbing in the fresh air while gaining practical skills.
During the session, you will receive hands-on training in belaying techniques, ensuring that you can safely manage your child while they climb. The instructor will guide you through the process step by step, teaching you how to correctly set up a belay and offer encouragement and support to your child.
