Take off above the Mediterranean with a parasailing experience that combines a short boat trip with a flight high over the Bay of Palma. Secured in a harness and towed by a motorboat, you’ll spend time airborne while enjoying wide views across the coastline.
This activity is designed for pairs or small groups and offers a calm, steady flight rather than speed, making it suitable for first-time parasailers who want a controlled introduction.
After meeting at Playa del Arenal, you’ll board a motorboat and head out into the Bay of Palma to a suitable parasailing zone chosen based on weather and sea conditions. The boat journey forms part of the experience and can last up to an hour depending on group size and scheduling.
Before take-off, the crew fits and checks your harness and provides a safety briefing. Flights take place gradually, with the parachute lifting smoothly as the boat moves forward. You’ll fly at a steady pace, reaching heights of up to 50 metres above the water, with time to take in the views rather than focusing on speed or manoeuvres.
Each flight lasts around 10 minutes. Participants land back on the boat before returning to shore. An optional photo and video service using action cameras is available for those who want a record of their flight.
Parasailing takes place in the Bay of Palma, an area with open water and consistent conditions well suited to towing activities. The wide bay allows space for controlled take-offs and landings, while offering clear views back towards the coastline.
The meeting point is at Playa del Arenal, next to Club Nàutic S’Arenal. Boarding access is via the beach, directly from the sand. Guests are required to arrive at least 15–20 minutes before departure to allow time for check-in and safety preparation.
Participants must be able to swim confidently, as swimming ability is mandatory for this activity. Life jackets are provided, but guests are expected to be comfortable in open water environments.
The minimum age is 10 years, and all minors must be accompanied by a legal guardian. Personal items such as phones, jewellery, and bags are not permitted on board for safety reasons.
This parasailing experience focuses on smooth, controlled flights rather than high-speed thrills, making it suitable for a wide range of first-time participants. Small group flights allow friends or couples to share the experience together, subject to conditions.
With frequent daily departures and a central meeting point in Arenal, it’s easy to fit into a beach day or holiday schedule, offering a short but memorable way to see Mallorca from the air.
