This two-day training focuses on coaching the technical and tactical skills for Freestyle paddlers. It is designed to help you plan and deliver safe, enjoyable, and progressive coaching sessions.
On the first day, you'll join your peers and the instructor to explore various ideas and theories, immersing yourself in the environment from a freestyle coach's perspective. This day is all about experimenting and gaining hands-on experience, focusing on developing your own kayaking techniques and understanding group management in challenging river environments.
The second day brings the opportunity to put your newfound knowledge to the test with real students. You'll design and deliver progressive coaching sessions, assessing athlete performance and needs, managing safety, and creating a motivating learning environment. The day includes practical application, allowing you to implement new ideas and concepts while receiving ongoing feedback and support.
