Embark on an exhilarating journey with our Advanced White Water Safety course (AWWS), tailored for those seeking to navigate challenging river environments with confidence. Led by our experienced instructor, Dan, this two-day adventure offers a comprehensive exploration of essential safety techniques and emergency procedures.
In our course, participants engage in a detailed exploration of key topics essential for navigating white water with confidence. Over two days, our expert instructor, Dan, leads you through a series of immersive modules designed to enhance your skills and knowledge.
From understanding motivations and river trip essentials to mastering craft and bank-based rescues, each session offers practical insights and hands-on experience. Participants learn to navigate steep ground, manage stuck craft and people, and execute effective casualty management strategies.
Through scenario-based learning, you'll apply theoretical knowledge to real-life situations, fostering critical decision-making skills and enhancing overall safety awareness. By the end of the course, participants emerge equipped with the expertise and confidence to tackle grade 3 & 4 white water rivers independently.
