This private boat diving session is for certified divers who want relaxed, well-paced fun dives in northern Okinawa. With two guided dives and flexible site selection, it suits divers looking for coral reefs, marine life, and close instructor support without fixed group schedules.
The focus is on safety, comfort, and adapting the dives to conditions and experience level on the day rather than pushing depth or time limits.
The session starts at the port with paperwork and a detailed dive briefing covering sites, conditions, safety procedures, and dive plans. Once onboard, the boat heads to the first dive site selected by the captain based on visibility, swell, and currents. This ensures dives are conducted in the most suitable conditions available that day.
Each dive is guided and adjusted to the experience level of the group. The instructor manages navigation and positioning while allowing certified divers the space to enjoy the reef, marine life, and relaxed bottom time. Expect coral formations and tropical fish common to northern Okinawa, with dives kept comfortable rather than rushed.
Between dives, the boat moves to a second site to offer variety and improve conditions. Surface intervals are spent resting onboard, hydrating, and reviewing the next dive. Photos and short video clips are taken during the dives and shared afterwards at no extra cost.
Diving takes place by boat around Minna Island, Sesoko Island, or coastal areas near Motobu in northern Okinawa. These sites are known for coral reefs, manageable depths, and conditions suitable for recreational fun diving.
Final site selection is made on the day after assessing weather and sea state. This flexible approach prioritises safety and visibility rather than committing to a fixed itinerary.
Participants must hold a recognised scuba diving certification and be comfortable completing boat dives. You will need to present proof of certification on the day. Divers should have recent experience or feel confident managing buoyancy and basic skills independently.
For safety reasons, this activity is not suitable for people with certain medical conditions, including heart or respiratory issues, epilepsy, diabetes, recent surgeries, or low levels of fitness. Height, weight, and age limits apply, and a minimum no-fly interval of 18 hours is required after completing the dives.
This session is run privately, allowing dive profiles, pacing, and site choice to be adapted to your experience rather than following a fixed group plan. This makes it suitable for newly certified divers as well as those returning to diving after a break.
Dives are led by a highly experienced bilingual instructor with extensive international diving experience. Equipment is professionally maintained and cleaned after every use, safety procedures are clearly communicated, and photography is included so you can focus fully on the dives.
