Start with a suspended bridge crossing and finish with a sequence of five zip lines on this one-hour aerial route inside Casela Nature Park. The combination of a moving bridge and multiple zip lines makes this a varied, progressive experience that builds from height exposure into fast, controlled descents.
The activity begins with a safety briefing covering harness use, clipping systems, bridge movement, and zip line landing posture. You’ll be fitted with a harness and helmet, and instructors will check all attachment points before you start. The first element is the Nepalese bridge, which introduces height exposure in a controlled, slow-moving way.
Crossing the bridge involves walking at a steady pace while the structure moves gently beneath your feet. Staff manage spacing to keep the crossing comfortable and safe, allowing time to pause and look out across the canyon and surrounding greenery before stepping off at the far platform.
After the bridge, the route transitions into a sequence of five zip lines. These lines vary in length and speed, gradually increasing in intensity as you progress through the circuit. Instructors manage each launch and landing, with the final zip line providing the longest and fastest descent to finish the route before returning equipment.
The experience takes place inside Casela Nature Park, an inland reserve near Cascavelle on the west coast of Mauritius. The park’s open valleys, treetops, and natural elevation make it well suited to suspended bridges and multi-line zip routes.
The park is easily accessible by road and offers parking and visitor facilities on site. Being inland, conditions can differ from the coast, so weather and wind may vary throughout the day.
No previous zip lining experience is required, as full instruction is provided. Participants must be comfortable with heights, able to walk across a suspended bridge, and follow instructions throughout the activity.
Minimum age, height, and weight limits apply and are enforced for safety. Closed-toe shoes are mandatory, and loose items must be secured before starting.
This route combines two different aerial elements in a single session, making it more varied than a standard zip line-only experience. The progression from bridge to zip lines helps participants build confidence as the activity develops.
Experienced instructors supervise every stage, from harness fitting to launch control, ensuring a structured and safe flow through the course. Entrance to the park is included, keeping arrival logistics simple.
