Using an e-bike in Milan makes it straightforward to cover more ground while staying at street level. Pedal assist helps link parks, historic sites, and canal districts efficiently, without turning the day into a physical effort.
After bike fitting and a short explanation of the assist settings, you’re free to explore independently. The e-bike support is particularly useful for longer routes between districts and for stop-start riding in city traffic. Locks are provided so you can leave the bike securely while visiting sights.
Many riders begin with a loop through Sempione Park, entering the courtyard of Sforza Castle before heading towards the historic centre. From there, it’s an easy ride to the Duomo di Milano, where cycling allows access from quieter surrounding streets rather than only the main square.
With longer rentals, you can continue towards the Navigli for a break by the canals or ride around the Arch of Peace and residential neighbourhoods. If you’ve pre-booked entry, you can also lock the bike nearby and visit the site of The Last Supper.
The rental point on Via Falcone sits within easy reach of Milan’s historic core, green spaces, and canal routes. Starting centrally keeps navigation simple and avoids heavy traffic corridors at the beginning of your ride.
From here, it’s straightforward to build a loop or head out in one direction depending on how long you’re renting.
All riders must be able to cycle independently and feel comfortable controlling an e-bike. Italian law requires e-bike riders to be at least 14 years old.
Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. A government-issued photo ID is required as a deposit, and a credit card must be kept on file for bike security.
E-bikes remove many of the barriers to exploring a large city, especially in warm weather or on longer routes. This option works well if you want flexibility without committing to a guided tour.
Quality bikes, included equipment, and a central starting point allow you to begin riding immediately with minimal planning.
