Ready to take your indoor climbing skills to the next level? If you’re confidently top-roping routes graded 5+ at climbing walls, this tailored course will teach you everything you need to lead climb safely and confidently in an indoor setting.
The course is divided into two comprehensive 2-hour sessions. In the first session, you'll start by exploring the fundamentals of lead climbing, including safe clipping techniques, rope management, and planning your climb. The instructor will provide hands-on coaching to refine your skills, ensuring your confidence grows with each climb.
During the second session, the focus shifts to lead belaying and fall management. You’ll practise holding and taking controlled falls in a safe and supportive environment, developing both the technical and mental skills needed to climb with assurance. All sessions are personalised to suit your pace and climbing goals, ensuring a thorough and enjoyable process.
Our indoor courses are hosted at climbing facilities arranged to suit your convenience, with the meeting point located at Ribbleton Lane in Preston.
This central location provides easy access for participants from the surrounding areas.
Participants must be capable of top-roping at an indoor climbing wall with routes graded 5+ and meet the minimum age requirement of 18 years.
Participants should be aware when booking that this is an Open Course. If you would like to book more than one space there is a significant discount offered on the second space. However if only space is booked you may be joined by other adult participants.
