Once the training days finish, the rest of the journey becomes completely flexible. Continue west through Andalucía at your own pace, stopping in beach towns, white villages, surf spots, and coastal parks while travelling and sleeping directly in the campervan. The route can be fully self-guided or inspired by suggested stops along the coast.
Rather than combining fixed accommodation with rigid schedules, this experience gives riders more freedom to shape their own trip while still benefiting from structured coaching during the kitesurf portion of the journey. Accommodation throughout the trip is based in a Volkswagen California Ocean T6 campervan designed for independent travel across Andalucía. The van includes two double beds, a kitchenette, indoor seating area, and storage space suitable for couples, friends, or small groups travelling together.
During the Tarifa portion of the trip, many riders choose to stay close to the beaches around Valdevaqueros, Punta Paloma, or Los Lances, while others prefer parking closer to the old town to enjoy the restaurants and nightlife without needing to drive in the evenings.
No previous experience is required for beginner riders joining the trip. Lessons are organised according to level, allowing complete beginners and intermediate riders to progress separately during the coaching sessions.
More experienced riders can continue improving transitions, riding consistency, and technical manoeuvres during the five days of training in Tarifa.
