Designed for beginners and experienced riders alike, this kitesurf camp focuses on progression, confidence and making the most of Tarifa’s famous wind conditions. Alongside daily coaching sessions, participants also enjoy a social atmosphere with plenty of opportunities to spend time with other riders both on and off the beach.
Throughout the week, participants take part in daily group coaching sessions with experienced instructors who adapt lessons around both ability level and weather conditions. Coaching is designed to help riders maximise their time on the water, whether learning the basics of kite control or improving more advanced riding techniques. Sessions normally include at least four hours of guided practice each day, with instructors selecting suitable beaches depending on the forecast and conditions.
The camp includes beach transfers, allowing groups to move between different riding spots around Tarifa when needed. One free practice day is also included during the week, giving participants the chance to continue practising independently while applying the techniques learned during coaching sessions. Riders without their own equipment can arrange a separate rental package for the duration of the camp if required.
If the wind conditions become unsuitable for kitesurfing, alternative activities may be organised instead of cancelling the day completely. Depending on the conditions, these activities could include surfing, paddleboarding, wakeboarding, self-rescue training or theory sessions covering safety, equipment and wind understanding. Throughout the camp, the atmosphere remains social and supportive, with many riders spending evenings together after sessions enjoying Tarifa’s watersports culture.
Tarifa is widely recognised as one of Europe’s leading kitesurfing destinations thanks to its reliable winds, open beaches and strong watersports community.
